I have seen so many of these videos with people not realising that they are 2 different games with 2 different goals. Comparing them is like comparing eggs to meat, it doesnt make sense.

You really didn’t bring a lot of light to why Terraria is good at all. As a player of both I can say minecraft is more for expressing your creative outlet and Terraria is more suited for your adventuring needs having over 10x the amount of items, and monsters.

Minecraft has better long-term exploration and building, while Terraria (even though it has way more items and blocks) has leagues better combat, enemies, bosses and game progression. In my opinion, Terraria has better re-playabilty, I've played these games for well over 1000 hours and Minecraft is the one that I got bored of after a while because they've barely updated the game in terms of game progression and new objectives since 2011, *10 years ago.* While Terraria has recieved HUGE updates that massively improved and extended the game. Terraria also has better quality in mods. Review: (First playthrough) Minecraft: 8/10 (Because the end goal is never even hinted at) Terraria: 8.5/10 (Because there is a *lot* to learn) (5th playthrough) Minecraft: 7/10 (Gets stale) Terraria: 10/10 (When you don't have to read the wiki every 5mins it gets really good, and the bosses are a blast to fight)

Doesnt seem like youre taking in the actual games, just the sales and amount of players. Thats like saying your channel does have the amount of subscribers as another therefore its better, I think this video was pretty poorly made and researched. Cool graphics though.

That was a very poor argument for Terraria. They never mentioned bosses, hardcore mode, expert mode, equipment, events, armour abilities or sick weapons. They kept saying Minecraft sold better so their for its a better game. I have played both games over a thousand hours and personally like Terraria better so don’t just say I’m a fan boy, Terraria just has way more in the game than Minecraft. The fact that they said thatTerraria has a end game and Minecraft doesn’t just shows you how little they actually checked out the games themselves than the amount they sold for. Terraria’s final boss is Moon Lord and Minecraft’s is the Ender Dragon. Both is a creative sand box game Terraria just has more of everything Minecraft has. The only things Minecraft had that Terraria doesn’t is an infinite world and is not 3D.

Terraria and Minecraft are actually friends. Notch played Terraria and let them use a creeper suit as a vanity for Halloween, and the Terraria credits say “Special thanks to Notch”. The Wither is even inspired by Terraria!

Pro Minecraft: - Better Graphics - More of a “choose your own style” game - More nostalgic - More kid friendly - More virtual, or hands on - Bigger maps, and more exploration to do Pro Terraria: - More bosses and enemies - Much more of a “story” game - Costs way less money - So much mining and underground exploration to do. - Much more challenging (in my opinion) These are both amazing games, but my choice is Terraria, mostly due to the much wider variety of stuff to do. I mean, I have about 1,000 hours in-game terraria and I'm still not bored... I love terraria, my best friend showed it to me a few years ago and I've played it since. If you play terraria and are getting bored, get mods. They add even more content! The most content heavy mod is Calamity. It adds a ton of items and bosses and even a new biome. But I don't care if you don't like terraria, it's your opinion. Just don't put people down for liking the game.

I like Terraria more because of classes. The game may not be huge but once you beat it you can try it with just mage or ranged weapons, and hardmode changes the enemies and bosses up a bit so that is also different. And Minecraft can be played forever but the content is ... Minimal and not very many items while Terraria has like 2000 items or so and you can even get pretty creative in it! So I don't hat Minecraft I actually really like it but Terraria will always be my favorite

I’ve been a Minecraft gamer my whole life. Always thought terraria was kinda boring when I tried it at my friends house. I decided to finally give it a try on pc, and got BLOWN AWAY. Terraria has so many more items and stuff you can do. The bosses are super fun to fight and progression just feels smooth. Both games are still great though.

I love both and if you play them, you see they’re pretty different, Minecraft is infinite and 3D while Terraria is not infinite and is 2D. Terraria has NPCs, bosses, the underworld, more biomes etc.. Minecraft has less biomes, no NPCs, the nether and the end. Edit: Also roblox and the other games are completely different

Both games are great but in my honest opinion I think Terraria is better Let me explain: Terraria: - Development started in January 2011 (Released May 2011) - Amazing PVP, PVE, lots o bosses to fight and a lot of crazy and unique items with their backstory (example: orange torch, plantera boss etc.) - Even if it's 2D, you can be creative and create amazing stuff (u need a brain to do so) - Friendly community (but there will always be fanboys) - Hard to get bored of it - Classes (Melee, ranged, magic, summon + more smaller ones like throwing) - Lots of mods that make the game a lot more interesting but aren't a necessity (example: calamity mod) - Cheap - Amazing soundtrack - Wiring (cool stuff) Minecraft: - Development started in 2009 (released 2011) - You can build amazing structures and be more creative than Terraria - Toxic community - Fun servers - Easy to get bored of (mods and servers are essential) - A lot of hackers - PVP isn't good - less enemies than Terraria - Creative mode - A lot of mods - Redstone is interesting (you can built great machines) - More expensive than Terraria Please don't be hateful (respect opinions) and don't start any 7yo flame wars Also Minecraft major update: 10 new items and 2 new enemies Terraria minor update: 100+ new items and 50+ enemies P.S.
