So a new video!
Installation on swapping your old lights for these F56 Black Union Jack Lights and a little bit about them!
These are the after market ones these require NO coding what so ever, literal plug and play! These also have the dynamic sweep unlike the genuine ones!

The latest version of BimmerCode ver. 3.0 (9401). Select 'Body Domain Controller'/Voltage Monitoring/Adaptive Brake/Brake/Indicators Rear, then choose LED and NON-Active monitoring. The new version appears to adjust both LH and RH lights together. Also in this version, these settings do not require to go into expert mode. Depending on latest Pre 2018 facelift model you have, the Tail Lights may already be set for LED.

Hi, I just received these tail gate lights in smoked. I installed it all good. But I have an issue. The welcome effect works only the very first time. Then it stops work and when I open with the key only the turn signal show up. Any advice? Thank you

Hi folks, fitted mine the other day the look amazing. One small issue is that they don't pulse on unlock and the indicators flash and not strobe as in the video. Have the units been changed so they longer do this? Many thanks.

Hey mate, i installed mine (got them on SMPS2012 in full red version) today and have the same problem, no pulse on unlock and indicators do not really strobe. Did you find any solution ? Does a bimmercode modification is requiered ?

Was going to buy some genuine Mini taillights, just couldn't decide whether to go down Mulgari Canbus control box (Canbus cancellers) or Brimmer coding option. Cancellers were almost price of the lights and was warey of Bricking ECU with Brimmercode (or code being overwritten during a service). These look like the solution! Interested to know if theses are modified genuine Mini lights with Canbus built-in or Patten parts?

So i have a 2016 mini e halogen. I recently purchase union jacks from ecs tuning but i had to code them for some reason. Im havn issues with the codes and fed up. So i have us version. If i ourchase these your aaying that no codeing will be needed or malfunction lights will come on?

if you bought the official mini BMW GP3 version then you will need to code it with numerous settings, if you buy most of the chinese ones you need to go into the bimmer app and enable the LED taillights option, it is much easier. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j8x6Z9CL0ODGZXk.html

AverageJoe Gamer Hello, No the only thing you will need for the MOT is the additional red reflectors which come with any type of After market lights I.e going back to Lexus Lights you can choose whether you fit those or not. Thank you

You can add the extra reflectors for the MOT which will pass and can be removed 😁

Im deliberately keeping the original lights to keep it as an unmodified example. Problem is everyone wants these union jack lights now so thats another reason that I don’t. As soon as something becomes too popular, it becomes boring.

NO BMW parts store will sell these lamps as there is a coding problem. They say the lamps will not work properly and your will get a dash warning on pre 2018 models? There is some conflict here as you say there is no coding required? I have a late 2017 F56 Cooper S.

Ian Hartland Hello, We have these on our own demo they are just plug and play. The ones from mini are genuine and will give an error and will need coding but the manufacturer of these particular ones have simplified the fitting scenario by installing some sort of module inside the taillight.
