My name is Dr Sarah Tonks, and I'm an aesthetic physician based in Knightsbridge, London. I have degrees in both medicine and dentistry, and diplomas in cosmetic science and dermatology (I've got a bit of an education addiction🤓) and have been practicing medical aesthetics for over 10 years. This shit is what i imagine purgatory is, and apparently ive been a shitty person, or maybe im just seeing what could be , if i dont change, you know, a TL Christmas story. Idk. But ypur beautiful and so am i so lets b greatful we're self-aware. I aint gonna let NO BODY tell me what i need ro change to fit in their "beauty " mold. Beauty is a myth y'all!!

Yvo Fi she’s not telling anyone to do anything tho? This woman came in and asked for this. She’s also a pageant winner so of course she’s going to want to look as close to what society in her country considers “beautiful.” Yes it’s shallow but that’s her career and what she asked for. Societal standards of beauty exist though of course we won’t all agree and thankfully were free to have our own experiences and perceptions. At the end of the day though the girl getting injected came in on her own and it’s her body and if it makes her happy then good for her. I’m happy with the way I look and like that I don’t have a cookie cutter face but I actually do get cosmetic injectables done btw! I’m a single mom and I’m in school full time on top of my job and I like to do nice things for myself, it’s a small part of my self care. I was just saying in my original comment that I appreciate that she emphasized that all cultures are beautiful.

@@skinsciencebymira that's a very intelligent response and view point. I hope you don't feel like i was attacking, my bad, it does make my soul cringe with all these standards. But i believe in its our bodies. Do what you will. But for these girls coming behind us, i just want better , its pretty mute tho. We're all sisters, i never mean to be a mean girl.

Most reputable doctors know better than to "doctor" before and after photos. The lighting needs to be consistent or before / afters are worthless (misleading). Clearly, the Exposure is INCREASED here, thus reducing shadows and changing how the light hits the face. Amping exposure definately takes a few years off. It is very deceptive.

What you did to her eyebrows made a huge difference. It makes her look refreshed but it’s hardly noticeable.

The golden Ratio has always intrigued me. And your work is phenomenal, it’s amazing what a difference these changes made. Not that she wasn’t beautiful before. Some people are commenting that she could achieve this with contouring but now she doesn’t need to contour!

You targeted all the uncommon areas that I have asked my injectors to correct. Most Injectors are so quick to go for cheeks and lips! That’s not strategizing each patient individually. This is why everyone ends up looking the same and still old looking. You have a great eye and technique. Wish you were here in California (USA)

I am a bit confused at the last thing discussed, that "pull." It looks to me like the before didn't have a strong line with the pull, and the after shows two deeper looking lines on either side.

Great work! I think the best result imo was the sister's lower jaw part as it became slimmer. That's really nice :). What do you think about using botox to slim down this lower jaw part by reducing the jaw muscle volume? I am interested in reducing volume in this part of my face. i can't stop looking on the asymmetry of lower cheeks/jaw( reminds me Lucy Liu asymmetry) . Wouldn't she benefit from botox into masseter muscle to relax that difference and may be slightly fill the opposite side. However overall great job done.

Nice! I have 2 questions: is it painful while you're injecting (if so, is it possible to put preemptive numbing cream?), and more importantly, how long do those injections last for (and if you don't like them, is it possible to dissolve or reshape)?

Do you have any recommendations? Beauté D'Amour difficult to know where to start as depends on the person but often people start with a bit of Botox or cheek, lip or chin dermal fillers, or Profhilo. Yes you can just give the office a call on 020 3695 5400 and they will sort you out 😘

I can believe that your work is so unclockable but at the same time makes such a difference, such skill! And at the end of the day who are we to judge what someone does to themselves. If it's important to you and you have the money, do it. Plus it is her job to be beautiful too so take that into account.

Great video! I've stumbled upon your channel and now I realize that maybe my doctor is not that great. He's not bad, and the simple things he does are great (slight lip augmentation) but it seems he's far from being as advanced as you. I have a cheek that is hollow in the center, the other cheek is normal. This bothers me a lot and he says that it's impossible to inject in the middle of the cheek. He says it's going to move or be visible. He injected my cheek in that triangle place under the eye and the part of the cheek that is just along the nose, it looks good, I look "fuller" and less skinny, but that hollow spot is even more visible now. My question is : is he right about injecting the cheeks or maybe he's not confident he's skilled enough to do it (his main specialization is breast augmentation)?

Wow she is stunning and Id'say looks less like their mother than the older sister! I also love the fact that your videos have become a way for me to validate what improvements I always thought would make one more attractive XD Seeing their mother she has imo most of her more apparent ageing around the eyes. Like her lower eyelids drooping down somewhat. Can that be improved with filler close to eye? Like actually right underneath on the orbital rim bone? And for the upper would it be worth doing any filling there to lift them and make them look smoother (i.e. creases lines and overall contour) And finally.. what do you think about Tixel? Can it actually lift tissue and restore contours while also diminishing wrinkles and improving skin texture to a great degree or is it a waste of time and money with subtle improvement?

dave Payneflip actually it’s her mothers video this week! Yes you can use filler under the eye and this in conjunction with some on the cheekbone will lift the eye laterally. Yes you can do filler in the brow bone area- I don’t believe we did it for her- you can only do so much in one go! Tixel I have never tried but a friend of mine did and was not impressed

dave Payneflip She is a fabulous injector that I have to say,,,, but I agree with your question. On a side by side yes you would see the slight tweaking but out and about it's a total waste of money because there's no difference only if there's a before picture following her. I get some fillers and I get them low key as well and I know I'm throwing my money away but it makes me and only me happy 😍 not a single person has ever said you look better or did you do anything?????? 😳

Roshnee C ah it’s quite hard to do by email, I can give a very rough idea but it’s hard to be totally specific for areas like the under eye because it’s useful to know the skin quality

Dr Tonks - what was the level of pain/discomfort experienced by her in this procedure? Or what was done prior to the procedures to assist with that? How 'easy' is something like this to handle? Watching the needles go in had me pretty anxious.

whataboutredlorry usually I don’t use any anaesthesia. There is lidocaine inside the fillers and the Botox has a small amount of preservative in which makes it less painful. I use the smallest needle possible and a sensitive technique. Sometimes I might use numbing cream for lips if someone requests but that’s not common. It depends on the hand of the injector, size of the needle and what is being injected

If women keep blaming women for getting procedures & ignoring the men who keep perpetuating the misogyny that upholds our patriarchal society that enforces these beauty standards that, _at best_ , pressure women into getting dangerous & expensive procedures just to feel slightly more comfortable in bodies they are taught to despise from infancy, Our glass will always be empty while men will keep drinking straight from the tap.

@@eraalia2385 women need to embrace the bodies they have instead of getting ridiculous procedures that entail injecting their skin with chemicals. And while yes, we have a patriarchal society (unfortunately ) I think there is a new movement where it is woman vs woman......... As well, when I said they will always see the glass as half empty...it means that women will keep going back for more and more and never be happy with who they are.

the face shapes at the end are not at all similar. the girl in the middle has a square shape, the other faces are more oval.

That's really the word isn't it.. symmetry.... You can have great skin, a nice nose, good features.. but if you don't have symmetry... It's kind of all for not.
