S2 chassis as FM chassis is so out of the box idea. the stability and speed of this build is insane. Excellent build bro!! The problem: I couldn't make the motor backward without open the motor seal.

Would there be a noticeable difference if you used a rigid set-up on a track with a single digital turn section such as that one?
@Z3NBluster5 жыл бұрын
I've seen results that the times don't really improve. They're fairly similar. But what happens most of the time is that cars that do not have sliding dampers that are being run alot on digital curves have a higher chance of breaking apart. Cars with sliding damper are more durable in situations like this.

Hi zen, does the at bumper, pivot, and sliding damper have a distinct advantage over rigid plates in standard Tamiya racing tracks. Thanks
@Z3NBluster4 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by, "standard?"
@Jermeister6 жыл бұрын
I’ve run 19mm rollers on the front, 7+ degree angle but it isn’t very consistent on clearing the bridge Lane Changer. Had to resort to the 12-13mm rollers on the right front. Are your front brakes set quite low? Mine’s at a 2.5mm to tackle the high banks..
@Z3NBluster6 жыл бұрын
If you're not clearing a lanechanger with 5 degrees, its probably one of two things. There are probably very many straights before the lanechange giving you alot of run up to it. Or your rollers aren't biting properly. I do not have a set height on my cars. I change the setup depending on the track.
@Jermeister6 жыл бұрын
Z3N Bluster Thanks! I’ll reevaluate my setting then.

what do you recommend for rear roller position/height?
@Z3NBluster7 жыл бұрын
It depends on the tracks that you want your car to be good at. If you want your car be good at cornering you want the top roller on the rear to be pretty high. As long as it's not too close to the top of the wall. If you want your car to be good at tracks that have alot of straights. You will want to lower the height of the top roller on the rear. A 30mm screw on the back should be fine for this.

How did you make the rear bumper to be the front bumper?
@Z3NBluster5 жыл бұрын
If you place your batteries in the car in reverse polarities, the car runs backwards instead. Now the rear is your new front.
