Thanks for the review! I've been interested in these since they came out. Benefits of a thick artist acrylic with opacity and matte finish we want for miniature painting? Yes please. I've been moving to thicker paints slowly since I started using the wet palette. They stay thick while not turning into a runny wash over time, I find it preferable to work from a thick starting point and control the viscosity with a little water or medium as I am mixing rather than reapplying drops of liquid paint regularly.

The thing I like about the Artist range is it uses the same liquid pigment as the other paint lines from Scale75. You can thin them down to just barely tinted water and the pigment never breaks up or becomes grainy. When I switched from Reaper to the Scale75 Scalecolor and Fantasy range I also got a couple sets of the basic colors of the artist range in addition to a few other basic colors like the magenta and a few others. With all the basic colors and the properties of the artist range I use them to mix up and shade of glaze or wash I want with fantastic results. I don't have to go through the more expensive bottles of paint to make them and with how little it takes from each tube to mix up a new wash or glaze I think I have enough off of my initial purpose to last until I die.

Hey, just a constructive comment. Tell me you're sponsored at the very start before anything else, you did say it but it needs to be the first thing you say. Give me your rating/rank/review straight up, people may click off after that but they will come back for your next review because they know your not going to string them along. Do that comparison always that was something that actually made me feel like I didn't waste my time. Show the result at the last thing the actual model and if it is a good looking model like that use it as your thumbnail, that will get you more clicks. I felt a bit like you wasted my time a bit, I know you were trying to do an honest review by your tone and how you presented things but it wasn't structured well and the whole line at the end of "find a paint that works for you" is extremely annoying. We all know that it is your opinion that is why we are coming here tell us its dogsheet or pure gold just tell us one way or the other. Sory if it sounds harsh it is just that most people, if they are annoyed, will click off or upset click dislike and just move on. Instead of telling you what is up, I hope that helps your process. alright, you have a good one.

An objective video production suggestion... watch your filler phrases... by the five minute mark I think I already heard nearly a hundred “ummm...”s and “uhhhh...”s... and about a dozen “you know?” - No we don’t know; it’s why we’re listening to the review. Once you started talking about your education, it became a lot better...

Too many “ummms” .... it’s very distracting and ruins the overall presentation. Takes practice to overcome the habit
