My EOS M is not my daily carry, that's an M6 MK II, but I have an EOS M in my kit, and your channel has encouraged me to pick it up again and enjoy it with Magic Lantern. Thank you for the link to a cage that works well.

Thanks! Yeah, I find more and more the EOS M becoming my daily carry. I just love the compact nature of the camera and the quality of footage I can achieve with ML. I've actually strongly been considering picking up an M6 MKII to round out my kit, but I still haven't yet. What are your thoughts on the camera? What's your experience been like?

Solid points! Thanks for sharing. I myself roll with a similar setup, just the EOSM & LEN with a strap and a mini Tripod. Cheers

Thanks! Yeah, I think a lot of people miss the huge benefit of how having a stripped down setup can sometimes allow you to do more creative things as opposed to having a completely rigged out cam.

Hello! I have recently discovered the Canon EOS M after shopping at a 2nd hand store. I got a pretty good deal on the camera, speed 90x flash, the 22mm, 18-55mm, and battery with charger. I was set on a NIKON, however this camera seems to be great for me starting to vlog/KZfaq beyond my Smart Phone. Thank you for all over your expertise with this camera bundled into wisdom for these KZfaq videos. I really appreciate it and look forward to seeing what this camera can do.

Just bought an EOS M with a f2 22mm and looking forward to using it for all the reasons you described. Nice and small but can get some great quality images like a bigger camera. Oh yeah and cheap too haha

I have an eos-m that I took to Maui 2 years ago. I don't use ML. I now have a M6 mark II so the eos-m is now my back up camera.

Hello! Thank you for your lesson videos on KZfaq about Eos m! I have 1 question. Do you know how to fix little problem: when I record raw videos with dual iso - I have a flickering… I don’t know how to fix it… can you help me? Flickering in shadows

Can eos m50 cage fit for eos m100/200?

I don't have those cameras, but if they have a similar build to the EOS M, my guess is the cage would probably fit them. Hope this helps!

I’m so frustrated with my eos m. Yesterday on a trip it just stopped being reliable. Screen frozen, shutter changing to wild values every time I try to restart, shutter values unable to change… reformatted and reinstalled. No dice. Records for 3 seconds. Different card in standard canon mode works okay. I’m lost. Anyone ever experience this?

Ugh, sorry to hear this man. That's super frustrating. Did you ever get the EOS M to work? My only guess and suggestion would be maybe trying a completely new SD card.

@@reelfilmmaking101 you know what? I did totally figured it out and it was my own fault. I didn't realize that I had changed the preset when in 16x9 mode for my anamorphic lens. So when I went back to a regular lens, and could use a higher resolution for 2:34, I was unknowingly still in the 1080 high frame rate mode. So I had conflicting settings that the camera couldn't handle and the present kept trying to revert so whenever I'd change settings it would freak out. Unfortunately by the time I figured out what happened I had spent +3k on a sigma fp and 2 lenses 😅
