I always get so inspired to change out my wardrobe in the fall, I mean, those cute cozy clothes call my name constantly, but this year I'm choosing to be more intentional with what I have in my closet. That means a massive closet decluttering sesh, simplifying, and taking on some minimalist practices to help me truly own and appreciate every item I have in my possession.
Decluttering tips and tricks to build a minimalist closet
✗ create a maybe pile
✗ let go of items that aren't functional
✗ plan your declutter day in advance
✗ simplify your just-in-case items to only 2 or 3 per category
✗ build a timeless closet with neutral essentials and timelessly trendy statement pieces
✗ if it doesn't fit you should split
✗ categorize your clothes after your done and go through your "keeping" pile one more time
