When do you anticipate the first flight? Think about Live-Steaming it😀

Early September. I have a couple more flights to finish my TW endorsement. I saved them so I was really fresh when I fly mine. The DAR comes in a couple weeks.

Also, aren't you going to need a trim tab on the rudder to counteract the engine rotation? I certainly had to add one to my build.

@@DTMinimax Well, no two airplanes are exactly alike. Perhaps you won't need one. I think that waiting to see how much, if any, pull you have to one side or the other is a reasonable plan.

You’ll see in my next video that I have to move my engine forward to achieve the right CG…I ended up 5% aft In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have used DF to build the tail

@@DTMinimax Mine came out tail heavy, too (as did every RC airplane I've ever built) but my engine weighed a fraction of what yours weighs. With your engine choice, I'm surprised yours came out tail heavy. But, such is the nature of airplanes. It's a miracle if a newly built airplane doesn't need some type of adjustment to the CG.
