We normally would keep the exact location under wraps for this one however you seem awesome as so I’ll share with you, this was at Goldsborough up the back of shamrock creek, it’s been absolutely hammered there but if you can find a little patch you could get a gram for the day. I would 1000% recommend one for moonlight and Lyell however it’s not as essential for slab hutt or Goldsborough, still handy though and never hurt to have. If you do order from DredgeNZ if you chuck The Sluicers in your order notes he will throw in a bonus small collection vial and that helps support us as well. @@TheSluicers Hi guys Drove 7 hrs to check out Shamrock creek camped out for 3 days went up the right hand side from campground but didn't find much (couldn't even find the longer left hand branch of the public area) ended up digging a big hole at the very bottom of the site n got our best gold ever ordered some more gear from Tania at Dredge NZ she is a very nice lady to deal with over the ph. .. got a free gold vial when i dropped your name thanks hurry up and put a new video out.. LOL...talked to some keen guys there and they say moonlight is the spot so will include that spot on our big trip ...waiting for the next video.. cheers Andy

@TheSluicers awsome , thanks for the reply. Do you have any recommendations for waders ? I haven't been in the water on the coast yet and I'm unsure if it warrants neoprene chest high waders or not

@@mataku4635 Neoprene chest waders we have found to be a pain as you get super hot while walking in them and they tear and break so easily, our pairs have only on average lasted us 5-10 trips. Our waders we usually wear are thigh waders which are essentially gumboots that go all the way to your waist, during summer you could get away with no waders and just getting wet but in winter it gets pretty cold. Because we don’t want the exact spot getting hammered by everyone, I think it’s fair game that everyone goes out and discovers what’s good themselves, I’m happy to share the spot with people who are curious enough to ask in a nice manner however of course we aren’t going to advertise it to thousands of viewers just like that
