The special was amazing!! I wish we could get a spin off and make it mature for the teens/young adults. I can personally see them cussing/killing/adult themes in their world. But seeing it 3D sadly it wouldn’t go down that route. ShadyBug is my favorite of all time!! Shady turning into LB I wish she kept the space buns. But I see why she looked like LB for being inspired from her. I get the whole Chloe situation made Marinette mad/evil. However it’s just to prove how being alone with no help and being abused mentally/emotionally can push someone to their limits.

Everything is temporary but Thomas hating on a 14 year old girl is permenant She's the only thing that didn't "reverse" in the "reverse" special. LOL. The only consistency Miraculous Ladybug can rely on XDDD

I was disappointed that Chloe was bad in the parallel universe. I'm more curious how it all happened though. I mean, Marinette and Ayla didn't become friends, I don't think Adrien goes to school (though I would think he could since his father is better in that universe then in the main universe), also if the bad guys own the miraculous' are the order of the guardians bad or did someone steal all the miraculous' and use it for evil? It's an interesting concept and I do hope that the zag team will make a spinoff for it (hopefully no Thomas in the creation of the show).

Personally, Betterfly was the highlight for me. I am one of these people you mention who wanted to see the Butterfly Miraculous being used as intended, mostly because I am annoyed that it's apparently *still* going to be used for evil after Gabriel is gone. At least we saw its proper use now. Still would love to know what the Ladybug Miraculous' de-evilization power is for when the Butterfly Miraculous isn't used for evil, though...

It has been a great possible ending to this series. When I saw Ladyfly I realized how great a holder of the Butterfly Miraculous would be Marinette, she is always giving Miraculous to her friends, and according to Su-han Marinette has that ability of knowing who to trust that the Guardians have. He could give powers to his friends without having to risk losing a Miraculous.

I normally don’t comment on videos but seriously I was so confused on why make Chloe a bully in A PARALLEL UNIVERSE but I came up with an idea for that solution: Zoe is the bully and Chloe is the friendly one that makes it more interesting “how long has Zoe been in pairs? Did Audrey cheat or did Andre? Did Zoe and Chloe grow up together as kids but Zoe took more of Andre personality while Chloe chose Audrey?” Heck that makes me want to know more about the other characters in their universe like is kagami mean? Or actually have more friends? What about Felix?? Did he get adrien personality? Or is he like his cousin? Heck luka? Rose? All of marionette classmates? That’s more interesting Also the kwamis?? (I think that how you spell it?) why does tikki and plagg have those things in their mouth? Do other miraculous holders have their own miraculous? Who has all the miraculous is it Fu? Or someone else the possibilities are endless In all honesty this “special” should have been a movie

Frankly, I think the multiverse only works as a narrative device when it’s used to reveal something about the main characters.

Lets be honest nothing will be done with the multiverse. Look at the power ups. We saw ice and water, got abandoned for way too long, and only recently got the space power up.

The special is decent, however it does fall into the same issues as the previous specials, being that it's contrived and doesn't have an impact on the overall show. This special should've been the finale to season 5, opening season 6 to focus on the Supreme universe.

🕑 Props to you Aloe, because the whole time travel thing is SUPER complex and hard to follow for people like me, but the way you explained it made it relatively easy to understand. 😅 I honestly dislike it when stories all of the sudden introduce elements of time travel or multiverses when it wasn't part of it since the start (unless it's something like what MLP did where it's not readily available at any time and thus doesn't affect the larger plot all that significantly), therefore I always hated Miraculous' inclusion of it. But I'm at least glad to hear the multiverse aspect was not a consequence of the time travel, because that would've made it a thousand times messier than it already is xD Is any of this enough to make me interested in returning to Miraculous? Nah. But, this video saga of yours surely was an entertaining one to follow! As always, looking forward to what's to come from you. 😉

Honestly, the special was amazing! It's just that I wish we could get to know Shadybug and Claw Noir's world because I am so curious about what it looks like. I mean I do love their parallel world the original. Also, I actually love Shadybug's costume AND Punk Mari's outfit because I love the details and the designs more which makes it even more unique. As for Chloe, well.. who knows because we don't know who actually she is in their universe. She might be nice but seeing differently through Punk Mari. 🤷‍♀

I agree. Multiverses are not the same as Time Travel. They can cross each other, but for the most part, they are their unique universes with their own timeline. In fact, most of them don’t have canon events and I don’t think even the Marvel Universe has “canon events” it follows like in the movie (could be wrong). DC does sorta have something to that effect, but it depends on any events that happen on Earth 0. Like not every Earth or universe in DC has Bruce Wayne as Batman. Sometimes it’s Damian, Tim or Dick, but the existence of Batman came from Bruce when his parents were killed in Crime Alley. No matter which universe it is, every Batman started with Bruce Wayne because of the death of his parents. That’s why Flashpoint made it such a big deal. If Flash went back in time to save his mother, resulting in another Flash to change other things within the timeline such as Bruce Wayne being shot, resulting in his dad becoming Batman and his mom becoming Joker, then that doesn’t just change the main universe Earth 0, but the multiverses itself, who are all created from Earth 0. Think of the parallel universes in DC like atoms and how they split to become two atoms. All of the universes were created from Earth 0 or Earth Prime in the comics. If Bruce Wayne was shot instead of his parents and his father became Batman, then that would conflict with the other multiverses like Batman Beyond, Dark Knight Returns and even the universes where Damian Wayne became Batman because he would not exist. Earth 3’s Owlman wouldn’t exist either, since he’s supposed to be the brother Bruce never had in that universe. Even Crisis on Infinite Earths that introduced hundreds of Earths would conflict with Earth Prime’s timeline change of Bruce Wayne being shot and his dad becoming Batman. If the universes or Earths are created from Earth 0 like splitting atoms, then the Flashpoint timeline would be like donating AB blood type to a type O blooded person. This is why I love the multiverse theory of DC better lol.

Though, to get around your "Go back to tell yourself to eat cereal" thing, we can instead replace it with a Bootstrap Paradox by telling our past self to travel back in time to tell themself to eat cereal, and thus cause a closed time loop. 13:15 Ah, like that episode of "Marvel's "What If" where Dr. Strange (repeatedly) tries (and fails) to save his GF. 17:25 It's not. It's Ladybug with a power granted by Betterfly to allow her (or maybe just her mind) to travel between universes, to stop Monarch from doing AU Crimes at the end of the special.

i wish the Legend of Zelda crew were involved in a lot of these inconsistent timetravel stories. At least they can keep things relatively consistent even across many installments of the series. With BotW and by extention TotK taking place so far ahead of the timeline that the events of almost all of the previous games can theorhetically fit in the same timeline. Assuming all of the maps were relatively similar with some slight shifts here and there as earthquakes, erosion and other natural events were to happen between each installment. But seriously shows like Miraculous and PreCure definitely need as much help as they can get. Specifically through rewrites. For PreCure i would like to isolate the time travel problems to just HUGtto PreCure, since that is the major theme of the season. Time travel, growing up, taking care of babies, the future vs the past. The villains of HUGtto, the Criasu sorporation are all representations of different time periods of Japan. Charaleet is the representation of Japan's Millenial period, Papple is the Bubble Period, Gelos and her assistants, JinJin and Takumi, are the Lost Decade, Daigan is the Baby Boomer Period of Japan, Dr. Traum and, by extention, Ruru, before she defacted became Cure Amour, represent Japan's distant future, and Listol, Bicine and President George Kurai are the direct future, given that it is very, very, very, very, very, VERY HEAVILY IMPLIED, that George is the lead Pink, Hana Nono (aka Cure Yell)'s husband in the future, and by extention the father of Hugtan, the magical girl turned infant due to overexhausting her powers to send her and her shapeshifting hamster plushy boyfriend to the past. It is implied that 3 seperate futures had occured in HUGtto PreCure. Future one is the future where George comes from having lost Future Hana at some point before they had Hugtan, future two is where Hana dies during Childbirth and their daughter who forms her own PreCure team tries to stop George from freezing time but ends up failing before whisking herself and Harry Hariham to the past, when her mother was in middle school. Future 3 is the currently canon future with Hana having survived giving birth to Hugtan...yes a show made for little girls had the adult version of the lead heroine give birth...nothing explicit is shown, but she is shown screaming from the unimaginable pain, as Saaya Yakushiji, former classmate, former Cure Ange and former actress turned doctor, is her doctor helping her through the process. The scene would often cut between her in the delivery room to a man who is clearly this timeline's George rushing to the Hospital and worrying that he won't make it. To put it simply the time travel elements could have used some work but were surprisingly not the biggest issue fans had with the season. No that was Public Relations and Damage Control's fault but this comment is long enough as is.

I personally liked the special. Like everyone else I wish a lot of Shady’s design was kept and I wish she wasn’t just a copy of normal world ladybug and I also wish she had her own different hero name instead of ladybug ask well as I also wish her hair was kept the same, but just done up in normal good colors. Not a fan of Claw Noir’s design, but I like the character. My whole thoughts after the special was that Mari pines after Adrien in the normal universe but since it’s reverse so now Adrien pines after Mari. To me at least I think it’s that way. I like that different shows play with the Multiverse tropes, but I dislike time travel and how messy and confusing and complicated it can get even if it’s explained my brain just couldn’t comprehend it which isn’t your fault since you always explain things well. There are too many theories about time travel that I can’t ever get behind it. I also personally need to watch something before I say I dislike it. I am in that faze with Generation three of monster high, so for me I can’t personally start hating on something or criticizing it if I don’t know much about the show. I also really like sunset shimmer personally and like her really bad character flaws so personally I don’t think she is written badly since, well, she is painted to be a highschooler and highschoolers make bad decisions and I just like when people sometimes just like being villains for power sake, but I also like the reformed villain trope like Sunset and Starlight. Yes Sunset has major flaws as a character, but that’s why I like her. Also she is red and orang and had a darker color plate so I gravitated towards that as well. Over all MLB is still a very flawed show, however if alternate Ladybug and Paw Noir had their own series about going against the Supreme with BetterFly that would be a much better story learning to gain the admiration of the people again. Great video as always.

I hate closed loop theory for the not actually having control of your life but also because half the time when writers use it, the event is something that only happens because if it didn't there would be no story and the event has no reason to exist in the first place.

It just occurred to me that Sass being the one to reset the timeline the episode Ephemeral actually makes more sense if you remove (or just rewrite) Chat Blanc. He resets the entire timeline so that Ladybug doesn't ever learn the identity of Chat Noir, which if Fluff is actually restricted to closed loops, this makes more sense than having Bunnyx fix it.

I think it is a divergent Universe (or Daughter Universe if you prefer), I also suspect that a new Multiversal construct is made when a wish is used too. So the current default could be the "back up" and Shady Bug's could be the result of a previous wish. (or vice versa). When that divergence point is will be better understood if or when we get some basic facts about the other "Dimension" such as who the Supreme is (most people seem to think it is Wang Fu at present) but it could be Su Han perhaps or even someone else entirely. So at present we could have a point of divergence that is say World War II or nearly 2 centuries ago when the temple was eaten by Feast. (or not). Personally I like the 'Evil Temple' idea quite a bit. From what I have heard something funky was going on at Monte Casino in Italy at one point. so that might even be related to it all as could Brazil. But no I don't think it is a Closed loop "as such" think of it as more of offspring Universe and then someone traveling back to the point the baby had not been born instead. I think if you wanted too you could even say every-time the Ladybug restoration spell or the Snake "Second Chance" is cast it creates a reset point. Those Snake Miraculous Universes do exist in a (mostly) closed loop though. But even those could exist in some sense otherwise the reset point would exist.. which then raises the question do they only exist in those series of 5 minutes and otherwise not. Think of them as a save file rather than whole videogame (metaphor wise). To be honest the principles of Multi-dimensional space time tends to get stomped all over by the show anyway. I'm still trying to get my head around what happens to the "Other Ladybug" when she's split up - for example. Is she outright murdered or merged ? If you look at Time breaker it kinda looks like one is just killed.

your Self-Correcting time travel Theory is just the Grandfather Paradox with an admittedly unique interpretation of a solution. most of the suggestions have pre-existing names and theories (Ironically closed loop is the official name of the theory suggested) I will note that I haven't heard of your Jagged-Timeline/Multiverse-Destroyed theory before.

I have yet to see this one. In general, I've been trying to avoid anything related to the canon series or the so called improved movie. But the show was glorious once, and I'm too much into multiverse to refuse. I just hope it entertains.

It's also evident that the characters from the other universes such as Bunnix(idk if thats how it's spelled) and Shadybug depend on Ladybug just like most characters in the show do. Also nothing they do would really alter Ladybug's world or timeline in any shape or form, if anything it would find a way to follow along in a loop. Like even if something would cause a change in canon events like they do in spiderverse, Ladybug would find a way to fix it as if said alteration never happened in the first place. I don't really think there is anything wrong with the idea of timetravelers from the future or a version of Ladybug that took a dark turn. It's just a matter how they execute it and actually making it a multiverse/timetravel situation where whatever someonendoes would really matter and that mistakes can easily be made by the heroes in addition to the idea of consequences.

I'll be honest, I thought that this other universe would be the exact opposite of the main one. Like, Gabriel is good, Marinette and Adrien are bad, but everyone else also gets flipped around. If we assume that all of the Miraculous would be in the hands of the alternate versions of whoever wielded them in the normal world, then the world would be screwed. Like, how on earth is Gabriel supposed to fight against every single other Miraculous holder (with the lines between whether they were used for good or evil being blurred for the dog, bee, and peacock) when his supply of willing participants also shrinks by that amount? It's basically impossible. Like, at best, he would have a Miraculous holding team of four, including himself (with Felix, Chloe, and Natalie possibly being on his side, but not necessarily as Felix fully switched to the good side and changed Miraculous, Natalie may still be working with a broken Miraculous putting herself at risk, and Chloe may have her Miraculous taken by Zoe). If the two most powerful Miraculous couldn't defeat all of the others as seen in the finale, then what chance do these four-ish people have?

After seeing the special I start to think why the show itself doesn't make sense or why certain facts change was because we're were watching similar aus but are not the same so every episode is a different ladybug and cat noir where results were similar but also contradiction to why no facts or growth happens

I don't mind Claw Noir outfit because if you think about Cat Noir original outfit doesn't have alot going on to begin with anyway but I don't think that is a bad thing. I can see why you or some find it less interesting but sometimes less is more for me. I do love Shadybug outfit more than Ladybug's but still alot going on. Honestly I would love to see how you would redesign the outfits you don't fancy much. :)

I personally didn't like the special at all. Shadybugs design was so good but Claw Noirs design with the green hair and purple lips just looks ugly. I see where they've coming with the idea of these version having problems and therefore they became the villains and not the heroes, but the way marinette and adrian talk with them for short and suddenly they become good feels kinda poorly to me. They could have atleast made it a little bit more realisticly. The time travel stuff is a cool concept because you can see all the different outcomes and stuff but i feel it just makes it harder to care for the main story.

There could be a third one which is multiple individual universes and each universe having there own set of timelines

⌚So, I've actually been thinking about this for a while... a super easy way to have fixed the time travel in Chat Blanc would have been to have the incident more or less be caused by an Akuma (like time tagger or someone else), that somehow caused the change in the timeline, as you previously mentioned that Chat Blanc should be the original timeline but isn't. I would also like to point out that from how things looked and having followed the series since I stopped watching at the end of season 3, there is no way, that Alix should have the bunny miraculous at that time, and there is certainly no way that it should have been adult Alix that we saw, and on top of that, there is no way that any of the previous time travel could have happened, as Alix would be dead in the future and therefor would never have been able to travel back in time to assist with Time tagger and on top of that, TIMETAGGER shouldn't have HAPPENED! So, you really are right, Chat Blanc ruins everything when it comes to time travel in this show.

Each Universe has it's own Main-timeline, which is kinda a river, the "time-current" is the strongest there, it is what "suppose to be". And, while the peaple have fee will, and can change this timeline a bit, it's small changes c compared to everything. But, like in the chase of things like Cat blank, there are timelines that takes you to the creation of a new Universe. It considered a new universe when a timeline changes too much to be able to get back to it's original "main timeline". In the chase of Bunnyx disapearing... Well. There's a theory that Lila is Manon from the future. Maybe, it's a longshoot, but I have to admit: if there's someone, who "NOT suppose to be" there (and let's say, Lila spoke with somebody, who otherwhise would have prevented Marinette to gift Adrien) that could be a problem. Gifting Adrien is a said minior change, but what happend was a big one, which resulted in not just an AU (CB AU) but bent the main timeline/universe to be there as well. Because of a shortcut, Bunnyx could travel to the time where it was still an alt. timeline and not yet an AU, but, because she was part of a slowly dissepearing Universe, she was fading too... Which is why the guardian of Paris named Master Wayne, who has been teaching his granddaughter Marinette and her friends to become Ladybug, Rena Rouge, and Queen Bee forming the starting trio. But why not the Black Cat? Why because of the devastation that Evelyn/Shadybug and Lucas/Claw Noir caused the Black Cat Miraculous is locked up in detention/eternal imprisonment Until it is needed. On her 14th birthday, the introverted fashion lover Marinette Dupain Chain is gifted by her grandfather, a mysterious magical pair of earrings, where a magical fairy named Tikki appears to make Marinette into the new Ladybug to save Paris from the evil villain Hawk Moth. Because of all this the lovely and beautiful city of Paris is under siege, and Marinette is named the new holder of the Ladybug Miraculous.

To challenge the isolated multiverse idea - universes can changes DRASTICALLY if they spilt early enough in history. Maybe evolution went differently, and now the dominant species are ducks, or talking cats. Butterfly effect to the extreme!
