That wasn’t the 3A lmao it was at 1:10. She was happy because she finished all of her jumps successfully.

She was also the first woman to skate a clean 8 triple skate at the Olympics, since Mao had calls on her jumps previously, if it makes you feel any better.

She did go for it, but in the short program she stepped out of the landing, and in the free she balked the takeoff and only did a waltz jump instead. Still amazing she landed it in the team event

It's probably because they are used to accomplish somethig big, also partly because their triple axel isnt as big lol

Kamila was the only Russian to land it at the Olympics, but it got overshadowed bc of the doping controversy.
