This was such an incredible gutpunch. Miriam had given Nathan good advice about "raising" Adam and not acquising to Angela's anti-semitism. Then it turns out that Miriam is also a weirdo crank with deeply held bigoted views and we see Nathan regress to his non-confrontational behaviors. Bleakly hilarious!

lol wut? it is an issue. They are a people who were abandoned by the arab nations who told them to leave in the first place so they could attakc Israel. They have nowhere to go, are held hostage by a terrorist organization names Hamas during times of peace, and subject to periodic war when said organization provokes Israel. Most of the 'solutions' on the table are guaranteed to destabilize the region, and are bad for both Israelis and Palestinians. Do you really think these peoples can just instantly put aside 70 years of conflict and live side by side in peace. 2 state solution is the only possibility for peace but it is a long time from beinf achievable.

In fact, this is the greatest triumph over evil, using its wretched body as soil for lilies. But, you are right. It takes a person of particularly high spirit to go through hell and still come out an angel. Most of you are but men. Many of you even less than that. But never mind your cynicism; I have seen such angels! I know they are there. And I bless them for their strength and resilience, for without them, the world would be a darker place.
