That's amazing for 10 days. A great foundation to build upon. Congrats. I hope you continue and discover the full expressive potential of this instrument.

Wow, sounds great for the first 10 days! I could not even do a waltz when I was starting to play. I know how hard it is to continue to practice with 2 instruments at once (especially such different ones), but you should definitely continue to play accordion. It's the most rewarding instrument I have played--very fun when you get used to it. Also, I have found that once you make certain breakthroughs with the instrument you can become 2x better just by learning a new/challenging song, its just a matter of getting to that point. Good luck 👍 👍

It's exactly how you write. My breakthrough with the accordion was to separate both hands. That was something I was not used to doing with a guitar. And from that point, it's a hell of fun to continue :)

Fantastic. It took me almost a year to reach this stage on the accordion so what you have done is amazing. I play a lot of other instruments so I understood the theory but learning the bass side and getting to the place where I could do both sides together took forever. Congratulations! I hope you post more songs.

Miro, you've got it down pat! Your bellows control is very good (that's one of the hardest things to do as a beginner), and your volume control is excellent. As with the guitar and the piano...... Also with the accordion, practice makes perfect! After a while you will start to explore the minor chords, dominant 7th chords, and the diminished 7th chords..... Then you'll really start to have fun. That idea of using a mirror was pretty good!!! By the way, I want to compliment you on your exquisite use of the English language..... You use it flawlessly! ☺️

Love the video! Just picked up my first couple of accordions off craigslist a 12 bass and a 120 bass both horners. The 12 bass is an absolute blast to play. I was on it for like 2 hours just noodling and making non sense with it. It’s definitely really tricky to get both hands to do different things as well as moving the bellows but I can’t wait to get better with it.

Hello! I learned more from your video than the others I've looked at this morning. I can tell I will need to strengthen my muscles (I'm quite a bit older than you!. . .), and the strap chafes over my left wrist, but just like the callouses on my fingers from the ukulele, I'll get over it. Thank you for your help!

Getting to a high level on any instrument requires a lot of practice over a long period of time. Consider that there are accordions where in the left hand the buttons are not chords, but regular notes. This is even harder.

Next goal should be getting your bellows technique cleaned up! Try to change direction on the bellows when you end a phrase, instead of on every chord, and keep consistent movement with the bellows

You know at least for me Accordian is way easier to make it sound usable (learn to play it) I have both a 80bas piano accordian and ukulele (small guitar :) ) at home and I learned the accordian in a month, while I still have not managed to play a single song on my ukulele, let alone, somewhere over the rainbow or hey sould sisters on an ukulele :) And dont forget, I have my ukulele for a year, while I have my accordian only for a month :) (but yea, maybe I do like the accordian better :) ) BTW: what software u are using to write your music and simulate stuff in and make exercises with?
