This was a revelational statement, I fully agree, and very happy, the waxy/oily nature of colored pencils make them a lot more versatile, honestly, than soft pastel or pastel pencils or even oil pastels. And what is even more important: the result of a color pencil work on sandpaper looks gorgeous when looked at in real life. In a video or photo, you cannot see the difference, but when you hold it in your hands, wow.
