Copenhagen, DENMARK - 1994 European Figure Skating Championships, Pairs' Free Skate - First, interviews with Ekaterina Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov and Natalia Mishkutenok & Artur Dmitriev of Russia, followed by the Free Skate of Natalia & Artur. They finished in 2nd place here and ended moving up from 5th to 3rd Place overall.

Maybe it was just the camera work, but their speed across the ice seemed even greater here. Such an aggressive and passionate performance. True artists.

0:48 the comentator is an @ss for making it sound like Natalia was in love with Artur and she couldnt handle working with him. WTF, they worked together for years

He seems to try hard to upscale her. They are very talented but I do not enjoy watching him.

In the fluff piece, Natalia and Artur were wearing the red-gray costumes - which program did those costumes belong to? I have seen footage of those costumes, but I always wondered if I actually saw the program. Did they have a different SP than Don Quixote in 1994 Olympics?

Was Natalia in love with Artur? It is interesting to hear she was bothered by his marriage to another women.

I don't think so. I think it was more in reference to how a working relationship changes when one partner has more responsibility and that changes training schedules etc. He wants to get back to his familyetc. She is gorgeous, ende up marrying a hockey player from the states

Actually, she was romantically involved with Alexei Urmanov. That was nothing more than the American media trying to fabricate a drama where there was none. Just business as usual. Natalia wanted to turn professional and Artur wanted to continue in the amateur ranks.

@@mellekerber6011 yes sorry but I hate American media especially back then, they need a story out of everything and true and fabricate things that aren’t there
