No, Lara studied in India. In India we are taught the "Queen's English" and some of us do pick up different accents depending on where our teachers come from. Besides, Lara's mother is an Anglo-Indian and she could have picked it up at home!

But course already corrected - now I have a neutral accent that’s neither southern or northern or desi or English ‘English’. I’m universal - just like the way Lara is speaking.
