Nothing Phone (1) Review - With Nothing OS 2.0 Update

I have had access to the beta of Nothing OS 2.0, so I thought there is no better time to take a look at the Nothing Phone (1), than with its biggest update since its release.
Extra things i appriciate that didn't make it into the video due to time constraints: I appriciate the phone going into deep sleep when disconnected from the charger for a long time. Likewise with charging up to 80% until an hour before the alarm.

The fact alone that its comparable to S23U makes it an awesome phone especially in its price range, and id argue for normal user its mostly a better expieriance thanks to the UI, monochromatic theme, design that adds a lot and better comfort of using.

Search "XDA Pixel wallpapers" it'll be the first result. It has apks from all the way back to the first Pixel

Video quality looked very good and photos too. But doesn't it support dual capture video (like my Xioami 12 Lite)? Recording video with front/back camera at the same time? Your video was very well done, I loved to watch it. Great work 👍

Unfortunately it doesn’t, not through the stock camera app at least

Very informative video. just one question, will the phone 1 get the same extra features and widgets as the phone 2 after the OS update?

It has almost all of the features of the 2. The only thing it is missing are the features that require the new segmented Glyph, such as the timer and the 3rd party app integration

just received the stable update an hour ago, and i am loving the aesthetics. there is a problem that i have noticed though, and i would like to inquire whether others are facing it too. The camera looks generally worse, specially with hdr situations and most images are coming out rather soft. If anyone else is facing the issue please reply. I was actually impressed with the camera quality that the phone had ever since the first few updates, but this feels like a step back.

Yeah I noticed that 50mp mode looks about the same sharpness wise, and that the pictures aren't as sharp as my S23 Ultra. Unsure if that's because of the new update, or just generally

I'll be honest, I've got no idea; I've been wondering that myself. There is no point updating to the beta now though as the stable release will be out next week

@@PocketPixelYT Unfortunately, I just updated it myself as the last time I got the stable update even after I did a BETA Update. And I got a confirmation from another KZfaqr just now that we'll get the Stable update.
