John Wick's action was way smoother than that, watch the train sequence against Gabriel in MI7 with like 2 cuts a second, that compares to Transporter 3 way more than John Wick does, especially when there is a 105 second long take with a Dragon's breath shotgun. John Wick definitely has smoother, better shot and more creative action compared to Mi7, especially when the grand setpiece is fighting on a train. Skyfall, heck even Tintin had a fight scene on a train, in its opening credits, that's when u know fight sequences on a train are getting stale.

@@illusion630 Pardon? When did Tintin fight on a train? I’m referring to the CGI 2012 film, and I don’t recall him ever even being on a train. Also, the train fight isn’t Dead Reckoning’s ONLY fight scene, you do know that right? The alley fight is incredibly intense and visceral, for instance.

@@dirtyfighters7751 Yes I’m referring to the cgi film, the fight was relegated to the opening credits of the film that’s summarised a previous story, it was short and hardly considered a fight, but the point was that fights on trains aren’t new to action franchises and are getting a bit stale. Also yeh there were other fight scenes which I liked a few of them despite having a few problems. The desert fight was short but tense, probably my favourite. The airport stealth sequence hardly considers as an action scene but it was rubbish as a stealth scene anyway. The car chase in Rome had a few pacing issues and felt like a rip off of John Wick 4 car chase in franchise where that franchise relies on comedy through its brutality where MI7 relies on comedy through dialogue like “who parks like that” which i cringed up at that part. Also nothing new introduced and led into a few cliches with the train nearly killing Ethan at the end, yet another copy of Skyfall. The club scene was pretty but a bit too short. The alley scene was another favourite of mine, I really enjoyed it so I have to agree with you there. Only problem was being a smaller space felt a bit too linear and was a bit too simple, especially after watching John wick 4 The fight on the Venice bridge… oh my days it was bad. I mean the fight was fine. It’s the fact that they killed Ilsa off, she was such a well rounded character and they replaced her with grace who is undeniably a worse character than Ilsa. The train fight I mentioned before but the train escape was exhilarating. I put a lot of criticism on this movie, but it’s only because it falls flat to Fallout and John Wick 4. I still enjoyed the movie like an 8/10. Please don’t think I’m hating on this movie because I’m not, I just wanted to share the issues and express why I left the cinema a little disappointed with the action.
