Trudy when you go back to Ghana, try to look for two Kenyan women who are doing very successful businesses in Ghana and interview them. One was a stewardess with Kenyan Airways, and she decided to stop and start a very successful Green House farming business with her sister. The other lady is also a Kenyan who owns shoe shops in some of the malls in Ghana. The name of the shops is ( Bata ). I think her husband, a Kenyan works for Guiness Ghana. There was another Kenyan woman Woda Maya interviewed some time ago. She is managing a Resort in Ghana. The Kenyan ladies are really doing well over there in Ghana.

I don`t think Kenyan women set out to look for Nigerian or west African men, I think it just "happens" for Kenyan women living abroad, I will have to say it`s because there are few single Kenyan men abroad compared to single Nigerian men abroad.

Exactly. Also East Africa men get married so early before or straight after university. West African men tend to marry and settle later in life. And I see the trend across all East Africa, more women especially late 20's and late 30's settling down with west African men.

This issue of parents warning their children about dating and marrying from different country started a long time ago. I watched the late Professor Magoha's Nigerian wife eulogizing the late husband of 40 years and she mentioned how her family was against her marrying a Kenyan husband. It is a recent video (last week's video). Just search Prof. Magoha's wife eulogizing the late husband!

Our official language is English ,this to avoid suppressing any other tribe but we speak twi allover and other common languages like Ga and hausa because on our independence day Dr Kwame Nkrumah said we should put o a new African identity Nd also our independence will be meaningless until all Africans are free. So we are just doing our independence charter.
