I would rate it higher if they could delete some of the silly comedic moments, not all of them but some of them. i still love the movie
@Jhein3 жыл бұрын
@@TheCreativeAnimation The biggest "flaw" of this movie and what people always don't like about it, are the silly and unrealistic characters. But after seeing the movie a couple times, i just got the idea that, they are just silly because that is the way Walter portraits them, he sees them as silly, he is so immersed in his reality that everything around him is like a cartoon. That doesn't mean that is the way everything is. So when i rewatch it, i just think this is what Walter is seeing, not reality. This changes once he goes beyond walls and comes back. You can see this when he comes back and confronts Ted, THAT is reality, and it looks much more realistic than what Walter was seeing before going beyond walls.

This movie came into my life in the most wonderful way possible: I had ended a relationship that hurt me deeply, the next day I was having breakfast alone in my house, sad and hopeless about the future. At that moment something inside me ignited, I threw my breakfast in the trash, I changed my clothes with the first thing I found and left my house, without combing my hair, without brushing my teeth, without anything, seeking adventure. I wanted to do like in the movies, when the protagonist buys the first ticket to anywhere, and I did. I embarked on a journey to a beautiful place called Tepoztlán, in Mexico. This movie was shown on the bus, at first I didn't pay attention, but right at this scene I felt it was a sign from heaven. That trip was the best of my life, I dared to do things I had never done: I danced alone at a Reggae concert, I climbed a mountain, I found myself, I even met a French girl and spent the night with her. Before that day, I would have never had the courage to approach a beautiful girl, or to dance alone, but I believe that movie brought out something new in me. I can say that since that trip I am different. When the trip ended, I didn't even remember why I had been sad since life is beautiful and we only live once.

The song 'Wake Up' is a perfect rallying cry for Walter, as he launches into the second act. Normally, the hero moves to a new location to signify the new world of the protagonist and Greenland is a perfect metaphor for this new world. Note that the last picture as he leaves Life (a daydream of Walter) is Walter as an astronaut. This is a foreshadowing of the 'Major Tom' incident that will be the last daydream that actually helps Walter.

This scene is the perfect representation of their always being an opportunity to take. You can always just simply get up and go. So many people get locked into the same thing, the same routine day after day, they forget there is a whole world out there. Life is meant to be lived, to go out and have adventures. Safety and security in life is all good but you shouldn't be so focused on it that you miss out on opportunities.
