I would have never thought of contrasting the 40s kids with the old ladies; the red glass really blurs the piece underneath and makes it feel so ethereal. Love it!!

I love this piece! It looks like the children are running down steps. Fabulous work. I don't like to use the originals either, photocopies work just fine.

Greg..you are awesome! I love this look and glad you put it in a 'shadow box' style frame! Love it! I have always wanted to do this look and just havent either gotten the items, which is probably WHY I havent or am not sure where to start! Love the steampunk look you have!! Well done.....again!........Pam

@Cybelemoon I guess I just kinda' love using those labels for their quirky twistedness...yes, I've got plenty of others, too. Glad you enjoy!

Okay... I've been watching you for a quite a while now... just curious, what is the addiction you have to the Ex-lax label? LOL I'd love to see more of the other old vintage labels used more. I love your assemblage pieces, keep em coming! I love your creativity and the "quirk" that comes with them!

@jccorona Hi, the flea market is in St. Johns, (Lombard St....takes up the Eagles parking lot and building)...Sunday morning...the vendors often start packing up and leaving as early as 11 AM..it costs $1.00 ....I've found some fantastic bargains there!

Your video's are filmed so professionally, what program do you use and do you film with a web cam or a video camera? I love the fact that you don't cut up your vintage photos. I cringe at the thought of doing that and I guess that is the reason why God made KINKO's. LOL Love this new project.

I LOVE the book!!!! The finished piece is fabulous. Hey, I'm curious about which flea market you go to. I live in Salem and I get to Portland regularly. I love SCRAP and the bins and you turned me on to Tap Plastics, which has become a regular haunt. Centuries ago I went to the Sandy Barr Flea Market pretty regularly.

@JWJNC Many thanks...but they don't always feel that professional to me. I use a Flip camera, and then do a bit of editing using the imovie program on my imac computer.
