something that bothers me is how Lance calls team rocket criminals for pre maturely evolving magikarp, yet he has three dragonite under level 55

I hate how a lot of people don't like Lance simply because "He's the easiest Champion." Like, I get it. Ice beam, Blizzard, etc. are all it takes to beat him. Like, think about it for a moment though. Dragons are _hard_ to train, they're fast, and they're powerful. If you don't have your ice type or dragon moves, you're basically screwed against him.

Still the best champion theme after all these years. Hands down.

An anime that shows off the battle between Red and Ethan would be the one of the most epic battles in Pokemon history.

This sounds more like DS-style. The 3DS is capable of fully-orchestrated music, so... But this is still totally badass.

My greatest moment of Pokémon History, was not a Shiny though I have them too luckily. But when I did a Heart Gold Nuzlocke Run and I smothered Lance with Ms. Green my Meganium. I was down to my last Pokémon which happened to be her and we both had almost 1 hp left and I only had one PP left on one move, Razor Leaf. I was crying when she killed his Dragonite, so proud of my effort and her. I'll never Nuzlocke again... Thanks to you, you made me make this long comment of my proud moment. Your music brings back great memories.

My top final boss pokemon moment was against Blue in Leafgreen. down to my last pokemon, my Lvl 53 half dead Pikachu with a lightball against his Lvl 63 Charizard. he decides to use Flare Blitz (or was it Fire Blast? not sure anymore), ends up missing and i knew Thunderbolt would *not* be enough to OHKO him. so i put the fate of my very soul into into the hands of my trusted partner, Pikachu and went for my only chance left: *Thunder* as it hit i first let out a smaller squeel watching charizards life fade away. as he fainted, i think the noise i made alerted my entire neighbourhood. and once Oak introduced Pikachu into the hall of fame i just broke down in emotions. never have i been so proud of a pokemon before.

I personally sometimes think Johto is the forgotten region, saying that with the thing that allows you to transfer Pokemon that you caught in Johto to Kanto and the operator saying, "Don't send any Pokemon past number 151 to Kanto! It could cause a ripple in the time space continum!" So, maybe Johto never existed...

This is why this is my favorite Champion theme music. The remixes just seem...beyond epic.

If this is in the style of the 3DS, I feel as if this is lacking an adequate amount of electric guitar. Nonetheless, it's really good.

That awkward yet awesome moment when you realize your playthrough party is very competitively viable even though you beat the game long before you knew what an EV was.

True story: Me vs lance, both of us down to our last pokemon. lance using dragonite, and i'm using feraligatr. dragonite used thunder. feraligatr had a tiny bit of HP left. feraligatr uses avalanche and wins the battle.

And I am still here, waiting for mega/alolan dragonite...

Epic just pure epic.

Allow me to tell you a story... It was the fight against myself... Versus Lance. He was on his last Pokémon, but so was I: Ignus, my Typhlosion. Surprisingly, I had already wiped out his Dragonites, and he was down to the one I had only dreamed of fighting: Charizard. It was pretty close, as I believe Lance got me with a Dragon Claw, which brought Typhlosion to 10 HP... And of all the moves I used, it happened to be Strength. The only thing that actually saved my life then was that move, because it got a critical hit... God, I miss that fight. I still have yet to do the rematch, so... Wish me luck.

0:00-0:55 I really love the first 55 seconds of this remix. To date, this stands as my second favorite version of Red/Lance's theme since DJFishhead's version.

When people say "Yo Cynthia is awesome and the best champion" or something, I sit there saying "Remember Blue?" In my opinion, Blue is the best Champion, we knew Blue scince the begenning, and when we saw Blue standing at the end of the hallway, I feel it had a bigger impact because he was always taunting us, using Swagger outside of battle and always One... step... ahead, so we had a history with Blue, but you might say "We knew and met the champions before we knew they were the champions" yeah, but the thing is, Blue was a begginer when we started aswell so we knew him through the whole journey, unlike other games where we meet them from story plotline, we knew Blue before he was Champion of Kanto

I start out with Ho-oh , A Future sight , then a fire blast. It kills Lance's first pokemon. Then future sight hits Lance's 2nd pokemon. #SWAG

The build up at the beginning is so perfect, After hearing this when ever I think of Lance's and Red's theme I always remember the buildup for this as if part of the real song.

The Lance/Red battle theme is possibly my absolute favourite Pokemon battle theme of all time, and this is one of the best remixes of it I've heard, especially that beginning! You did a splendid job sir :D

The opening is a little Nobuo Uematsu meets Pokémon. I like it. I've said several times it would be good to get some of the Pokémon KZfaqrs in on the actual games, but this one directly deserves to be used. If they ever do come across this (if they haven't already) and don't offer you a tidy sum to use it (or already haven't if they have already heard and obviously didn't make an offer in that case), they are REALLY stupid.
