Of all the no nonsense judges I've seen on sovcit videos - which there aren't many - this one is the best! Love how he simply told the guy how it was, then completely ignored what he said! No arguing, just advising him of the consequences of his actions. Love this judge!! (love your channel, too)

Enjoyed it very much. Sovcit is so idiotic. They waste time and money in the court system. I think we need a law that states, "You follow the laws of each state. Period. If you challenge this proceeding in any way, you will serve a term of 1 year, automatically."

Why did the judge not give him the whole thing? Like if I saw someone making a mockery of the court, I'd give them the 5 days and the $5k. Why did the judge only give him 2 days and $1,000.

Jasa I have always sensed that Judges try not to throw the book at everyone for moral reasons. *Meaning that they look at the MAXIMUM penalty and cut back on it so that anyone looking at their judgments* _including the defendant & their attorney_ *and would have to say:* 🤷🏻‍♂️ _Even if I disagree, it could have been worse. The judge was actually quite merciful._ Judges know all of the loopholes so I feel they reserve FULL FINES and FULL SENTENCES for *perfect cases.* He was obviously in contempt but if this 💩 the next day hired a lawyer to contest / appeal the charge of contempt to a higher court… *This judge* would be vilified because *it could have been a lot worse.*
