This was the era when she went from pop star to iconic leader. There will never be anything like "Rhythm Nation".

"Rhythm Nation" is one of the coolest titles I've ever heard.

I've never seen this before, thank God for KZfaq. Had no idea she did this. But man, being a popular recording artist is exhausting. During the Rhythm Nation tour, Janet did interview after interview and documentary after documentary. Man, that would drive me crazy.

I still have this episode on VHS watch it a million times (not literally) but Rhythm Nation is a masterpiece she was only 23 y.o when the album came out Janet was so brave to talk about real social issues and biases that's prevalent today you don't see artist today that young talking about social issues on that level.

The rhythm nation band Janet had was by far the best band she’s ever had. Not that the others weren’t good , it was just that particular band was on another level far beyond anything else. Chuckii Booker had that sh** rockin’ for real.

This was her best band I agree. But Velvet Rope band was tight and so was number ones.

Speaking of Janet Jackson, happy birthday to an icon that is Janet Jackson. Yes she may come from an iconic family but to carve out her own iconic legacy is incredible and feels so good that many appreciate and celebrate the Queen that is Janet Jackson.

She has been such a role model and inspiration for today's women artists . She's even inspired the late Selena. She honestly doesn't get the credit she deserves.

Where did this Janet go to? So vibrant and full of life. In later years she has changed so much. This is the Janet I fell in love with.

She was black balled Justin Timberlake set her up she’s be silent since🤦🏽♀️
@AladeenMusic2 жыл бұрын
@@fumikoadullaha449 Justin didn't set anyone up, but some crazed executives have been obsessed with ruining her career. Justin wanted to come forward when it happened but Janet herself was the one who told Justin not to say anything she didnt want to drag him in it, she and Justin are in good terms

Who isn’t vibrant and full of life at 24? She’s 56 now, and has had years of experiences in life and the industry that have naturally made her more cautious and guarded when it comes to the media. It’s unfair to not expect her to have changed from 30 years ago. Who doesn’t?
@beyourself2444 Жыл бұрын
@@AladeenMusicight, like Timberlake wasn’t part of that set up…

@@done875 the changes you are talking about are understandable. I won't waste my time talking about the changes I'm talking about. It obviously went over your head.
