Mk3 supra 7M valve cover vent hose

2 жыл бұрынI've never liked the looks of the rubber/neoprene hose that runs from the valve cover to the engine block. I decided to toss the hose and build my own using a -12AN push lock fitting and hose. It really cleans up the bay and looks better than a rubber hose with a hose clamp. This is more of an oil drain than a "positive pressure vent". Beautiful car

Great idea , looks so much cleaner than the original setup. Mine was completely hard . It literally cracked as I removed it . 😮 the over fenders look so good . Can’t wait to see the video 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

You can also use the BMRS hose. They are made of fluoroplastic and you have a lot of them from NASCAR cars. They do not leak or crack from oil and temperature.

Thanks for the input. I will have to look into that. I like how easy it is to make the lines with the push lock fittings, unfortunately I just don't see them lasting over an extended period of time. If I was drifting or track racing my car it pull the lines off and go back to braided lines.

Did you have to relocate your battery? I haven't seen it so I'm wondering.
