So with the larger capacity and cooling capability, the acceleration is must smoother and less burst like, even the throttle response seems to be stronger and removes the lag

This should fit any of the 1.8t’s with a side mount. But I would confirm with the figment tool.

Will sidemount inter cooler works with big turbo? I have audi a4 1.8t b6 longitudinal engine. Thanks in advance…

I honestly don’t have that much faith in them for anything beyond a K04. If you are gonna go big turbo you’re gonna wanna spread the pressure across a larger system. I’d imagine you’re going to have massive problems with a side mount big turbo setup. Hope this helps.

That’s actually a MAP sensor Incase I misspoke. I ordered it off of eBay, I believe I attached a link in the description

The vent will allow for additional cooling, due to natural vacuum while driving.

Volkswagen makes a factory vented fender liner, just have to order a city jetta fender liner.......just sayin.....lmao

I don’t know what the increase in hp would be on a stock tune. But for the tune I ran it enabled me to run without heating issues.

I apologize for taking so long, but in order to install the upgraded side mount you do need to take off the front bumper, unless your just snapping stuff. Also as someone that’s making videos the more space for the camera the better.

@@bradlien5361it only takes 10 minutes to pull the bumper and it's definitely easier to get in there to work but it can be done without removing

Like I mentioned previously, it also provides a better view for the camera and helps to avoid snapping stuff
