Then they have the nerve to get pissed off when the other team retaliates. They hit Wilson Contreras of the Cubs almost every game they play each other .

When Mike fiers hit Stanton it was an accident. When he did it again on the tigers that was an accident, fiers felt bad when he hit Stanton because it was a season ending injury. The homer was a reason for revenge on the tigers and Yankees when staton got HBP.

You really can't blame Fiers for the severity of Stanton's injury. Even a little leaguer knows to turn away from a pitch that is riding in on you...Stanton literally opened up his stance and turned directly into the pitch, that's why it hit him so squarely in the face.

Funny how the first one Baez hit a can of corn. He had zero reason to celebrate because his “hit” was only relevant because of the effort of the other three players who got on for him. I’ve not only played but coached at the high school level as well. I don’t want to burst the guys bubble but come on that wasn’t a good hit, it was just something that worked in the circumstance.
