Mo-Power! DCC Capacitor System for Uninterrupted Locomotive Power!

Momentary loss of power from dirty spots on your trackwork will be a thing of the past with Mo-Power - Rapido's all-new uninterrupted power capacitor system for our HO scale locomotives!
We plan to equip all future, yet-to-be announced HO scale DCC locomotives with Mo-Power going forward, but it will also be included on the following already announced and/or in-production models:
Hudson
D-10
44 Tonner
Dash-8
Note: the GP38 will NOT be Mo-Power equipped as mentioned in the video itself.
And there's a good chance it'll be on many more!

Excellent! Now my locomotives can jump the insulated track leading off the edge of the layout.🤔 My only thought at that point is to hope they land boiler down, so as to enjoy all that wonderful Rapido detail!

Two questions: 1. Is it remote powerd meaning it doesn't require track power? 2. Do you reliease that's a Cyberman, he can send a signal to the other Cybermen to come down and destroy you!

it isnt remote controlled, he was just showcasing the capacitor which lets it run over dead pieces of track without stopping or lagging

I didn’t pre order an empress but know I really want to. Hopefully my local shop can still get some. It will be getting a different decoder however. I still even need to change the decoder on my Amtrak 4316.

Will this work with aftermarket sound such as Soundtraxx decoders? Or only with the esu factory decoders?

The H16-44 is still in development, but we should have an update on the project coming soon. These will include MoPower in any case.

If/when the H6 project gets back on track they would include this feature. Currently the project remains on hold due to weak orders.

@@rapidotrains oh dear… I actually haven’t ordered one, so tempted though. I just have a hard time justifying spending that kind of money, not saying I don’t think it is worth the money though, as your other steam locomotives have been fantastic, and miles ahead of what everyone else makes.
