Thank you. I just had two mobi-c put in 48 hours ago. So far im much better than i thought i would be. My main concern was a pinched nerve. But i had bone spurs, arthritis and stenosis. So hopefully this procedure will clear these up for the most part.

Lol, thanks for the video and welcome back! You're such a youngster at 51. :) I'm 63 and still doing OK. At this point there's lots of little pains, pretty much everywhere, but I'm blessed I've never needed ANY major surgery. Take care and glad your recovery went well!

I just had my c5 c6-7 replacement with mobi c April 22nd and doing better but I’m still having some neck pains when turning side to side and looking up. My right side is still a little weak even though that cleaned the nerves up. I feel like I definitely have a ways to go before work but my next appointment is June 1st!!!

Update? The disc I may get replaced is also my c6-c7. What were your symptoms before and currently?

Thank you for this video. I’m researching lol and I think I need to stop it. I’ve said yes to surgery and I have to find calm before going in. I’m scheduled in October so I have time to strengthen myself the best I can, eating healthy, making breathing exercises and find faith that everything is being fine - just like you say. As the surgeon told me: this is our job, we are doing this day in and day out. I feel like I’m in good hands. A week prior to the surgery I’ll have to go to the hospital for a 4 hour stay where they will inform me about everything I need to know and I can ask questions. They’ll take some bloodwork and make sure everything is as it should be. I’m looking forward to get better and I hope this Christmas is going to be wonderful. Yes I know, we are in august, but right now I have one focus, October surgery, November recovery, December Christmas lol

Good luck on your surgery. Everyone is different. But I can honestly say there are some days I totally forget that I had the surgery done. I have no restrictions. No pain. Don't over think this. You've got this :)

Thank you 🙏 for the update I’m 60 and was scared to death to watch any videos before I had my 3 disc removed… I knew I had to do it my nerve was being cut off and I was bone on bone. Healing process is slow but steady I worked out my whole life so I did ok I was pain free from the nerve pain as soon as I woke up from surgery it was amazing. If you really need this do it they were going to burn my nerves off to stop the pain this is what to do but trust me we need our nerves. It’s not easy I will say first few weeks are the worst you can’t eat and pain from surgery but it’s nothing compared to the nerve pain. Go slow and God Bless 🙏

Wow. Amazing. I need this surgery as well. 10 years putting it off. I need to have it now but need to find a doc here in MO that does this type of surgery and not just use cadaver bones.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I just met with my Doctor and he suggested having the C6 disc removed and replacing it with a bone spacer. My question is how is your neck movement post surgery. I’m scared I’ll be stiff and can’t move my neck. Could you advise if you see this question. Thanks so much
@highroller777
@highroller777 Жыл бұрын
I have full movement. The mobi-C allows it. One of the reasons why I went with it. There are somedays I totally forget I even had the surgery done. I can not comment on a "bone spacer" I do not know. Something to discuss with your Dr.

I’m at one year post op. I got 2 Simplify discs in my neck. Curious if you have had and popping of your discs where you can feel it sort of like a click feeling? Had it happen right after surgery and then it went away. Came back this past week. Not quite the same but I can tell it’s the device clicking. No pain. Thanks much!

:) actually yes, sometimes I do have a click, it's not often but sometimes. It's almost like when you crack your knuckles. I just call it a reset...lol

@@highroller777 thank you that is the only thing that I think is making my neck still hurt, other then that I am 5 months out now and I feel great. Other then my back they are talk about doing that next.

I'm a stay at home mom, So I can't really give that answer, What I can tell you is that I was able to do house work a couple days after surgery. Now should I have been doing that? Dr would tell you no. But I'm stubborn. Listen to your Dr :)
