I charge $175 for On-site tune ups, on riding mowers. I won't get off my coach for less than that for a riding mower.

I’ve often thought about doing this but have worried about the customers who seem to think it just needs a “tune-up” when the engine is seized, or the crank is bent, or...? But you make a good suggestion of hauling your trailer in case they need anything more than a basic tune-up and just bring it back to the shop for the actual repair side of the business. Great job!

I kinda have the cart before the horse here in the North east I offered my service in our neighbor hood facebook page and it blew up so I went from working out of my pick up to transforming my 25 foot snowmobile enclosed trailer into a work shop with heat for when I work on snowblowers in winter . Let me tell you the mobile maintainence is the way to go . Being able to fix a customers at there home where they do not have to find a truck or pay pick up and delivery costs that is money in my pocket . I work my neighborhood so I I am 2 minutes from home . I visited the local smal engine repair shop and they had a parking lot full of machines waiting to be fixed and they were months out .

A easy day can go bad A bolt can break off and your gonna have a bad day!! That can happen.

Thank you for the info. I just started doing the mobile repair and welding repairs. All the shops around here are booked solid and no one gets their equipment back for six weeks or more.
