Also "a lot" of people know him (not where I live anyway), but they snub him or they often don't get the emotional intensity of most of his tracks. And 13 millions is a little, in relation to moby's songwriting and composing abilities. That's underrated

This is beautiful and moving. I used to think slow motion in a music video is cliche and has lost its power, but now I understand: if applied effectively, as in this music video, it gives the viewer time to appreciate the significance of the visuals as well as the lyrics and music. conheci essa música por acaso alguns dias depois que meu irmão mais velho morreu. senti uma conexão muito forte com a letra, a melodia… tudo. lembro de chorar várias vezes ouvindo sozinho no quarto. já se passaram 7 anos e ainda dói muito. e hoje meu avô se foi também… estou me agarrando ao resto das forças que ainda tenho.

O ano era 2013. Eu era um adolescente fã de Moby (e de outras bandas alternativas) e fiquei completamente viciado no álbum Innocents, lançamento na época. Ouvir essa música é como se eu voltasse ao Ensino Médio, quando tudo era mais fácil e os problemas praticamente nem existiam...

For all those who are dissing India, I have just come back from a trip of a lifetime - been to the exact place where most of the video was shot - Varanasi, everybody is entitled to an opinion but why would u judge something u haven't seen ? Stupid presumptions will never do it justice! It was an amazing and enchanting place, it suits the song perfectly, moby is a genius and the song fits perfectly with the magic and the healing effect India has on people, even the video seems spiritual as it gives u this warm weird feeling inside. Don't hate - APPRECIATE.
