In this short melodic study I demonstrate how we can apply the concepts and ideas covered in my "Melodic Quadrangulation" book series to produce modern quartal melodic phrases over ii-V7-I progressions.
The study consist of 5 different "four measure" phrases over a ii-V7-I in the key of C Major and showcases some of the different creative ideas for voice-leading you can achieve with this unique technique for melodic construction.

@@HristoVitchev I ain't gonna lie , I'm not a deep theory guy but I love what I'm hearing... Can you break it down into a digestible form for us theory challenged folks ?

@@g-love6507 these are basically phrases that are constructed by the interval of a 4th primarily and also use many parallel perfect 4ths that contains tension notes agains each chord but then resolve in a smooth way to chord tones over each harmony. It is a way to create melodic tension and contrast over any given sonority.
