The Dwarf seams like it has the capability to do quite allot. Even some things that have never been thought of before but I haven’t seen many folks do that yet. I’d LOVE to see examples of folks creating rigs that emulate things like Neural DSP’s Archetype: Tim Henson plugin, Hologram Electronics Microcosm, or some of Chase Bliss Audio’s products like the Dark World Dual Channel Reverb.

If I could figure out how to replicate the microcosm, I would for sure. Looperative is working on releasing their looper software as a plug-in for the mod platform, and I’m hoping that will be the looper for the job. The dwarf is now the only pedal in my set up these days, and I’m very excited to see where it goes.

Ive got the duo and the dwarf. I play guitar, bass, and mostly Elektron and Dreadbox product. I use them for production and live sets. These are true time savers which has really made these an essendral part of my Rig. Thanks

Is there any way to get the RTL down below 5.5 ms? Is that a limitation of hardware or drivers? My RME interface has less than half that RTL at a 32-sample buffer running on Windows. Surely a tightly-integrated purpose-built device can match those figures.

This looks like a great system. By the way, for most of recorded time, guitarists put effects in front of the amp. Amps didn’t even have effects loops until rack mount gear became common in the 80s. You can’t hear the difference between a distorted delay or a delayed distortion. It’s the same thing. And chorus and flanging (and phasing Univibe) often sound better into an over driven amp.

Can you add external midi footswitch to store presets or banking up and down?

Sure. You can use both USB as legacy DIN MIDI. With external MIDI controllers you can navigate through setups and also snapshots of setups

16ms roundtrip latency shouldn´t affect the performance?? sure.... it will only kill all inspiration and musical expression.

does the digital setup has to be made at a PC or can u do it via smartphone with bluetooth?

You can plug a USB-Bluetooth dongle on the device and then use your tablet to connect. Smartphones can also connect in this way, but the screen is too small for practical use.
