hi!, quick question, i'm planning on buying one, but lately there are not much places to buy, and seeing that mod devices went bankrupt, (is Mod Audio now). my question is, are you still using it? what are your thoughts both on using the pedal, and the support etc. Thanks!

pretty cool stuff! this is basically like a simplified GUI version of the JACK interface i use with a number of plugins when making music on a linux PC. i even have that wild rakarrack multi-effects plugin, but it eats up my meagre CPU. anyway, this seems like a much easier way to do all that.

Ahh...so some of these plugins are available on Linux...I didn't know that!

yes, i read in their FAQ Mod Devices use an open source platform so i guess Rakarrack and others have contributed their plugins, which have been available on linux for a while.

@@TSFAHTPS all the plugins should be available in Linux. It is using the LV2 format for plugins for Linux DAWs which is more or less comparable to VST or Audio Units on PC/Mac. They are probably recompiled specifically for Mod Duo, though.

Thanks for this! I can't wait for mine to arrive. Would you be able to possibly post some "sounds only" type videos to hear some of the different pedals/effects on bass. Most of the content online right now is more guitar-centered. Thanks!

I've been checking out the user guide and some of the tutorials. It'll be a while before I can afford it, but I'm kind of obsessed with it now. I'm also really looking forward to the Zoia.

Hi guys, I was wondering how many of these effects came pre installed? I was about to buy a Dwarf but Mod devices are currently in administration so the site for plugins and boards is down. I'd love to go with it anyway but it'd be reassuring to know I'd have enough to play with if the website never went back up. Thanks!

@@TSFAHTPS thank for the reply 👍 I've seen the other video and it was great, I guess what I was wondering is if there are more pedals included once you use the dwarf with the computer for the graphic interface? E.g. that envelope filter looked great! Really hoping that Mod gets sorted out, it looks like such a good system!

OC-2 just has octave down effetc, that's why you cannot hear octave up effect. It is incredible that with such a library there isn't any octave up effect! Absurd!!
