Great video. What'd be cool is a road bridge (or a stone footbridge) over the tracks where those new embankments are. I regularly go spotting in Sunderland, where 3 very similar sandstone bridges cross the railway on Villette Road, Spelter Works Road, and Ocean Road, with a footbridge just further south that was demolished many years ago. I really need to do more wiring on Ashbrooke Central to finish the job, since I've converted the inner loop to be switchable DC/DCC control but haven't wired up all the droppers to a bus wire yet.

Great intro to the video The BTF films are excellent full of ideas and detail for a layout as you have shown with the luggage and wheel chair ramp. I saw one on the nuke wagons in a normal freight train hauled by a Peak I believe it was an unusual sight and would not of been loaded but just another idea you could use. The storage tanks look great I bought a couple myself at one of the shows and they really are good. Changing a bit of track is the easy part the updates to the control panel like the real railway are more of a job as you found, partly the reason you find platform 0 used to save having to make a whole new panel.

And talking about people changing their minds - we are currently watching a swathe being cut through Buckinghamshire, basically relaying the old Great Central Railway, but on just significantly different enough of a route to lay waste to still more British countryside and its wildlife. In twenty years from now (or so) it will have healed back up and be just another very useful railway(?), of course, but just now we are experiencing all the joy that the Victorian public must have seen when Railway Mania hit for the first time. Or something. On a more positive note I used to 'enjoy' seeing an earlier version of those nuclear flasks rumbling through west London, on the line separating Stamford Bridge football ground from Brompton Cemetery. I do remember that they moved very, very slowly, but perhaps that was because of the in-city situation? I'm not sure enjoy is quite the right word, as it used to be accompanied by a slight edge of terror, but well… Beyond beautiful models once again from the team at Accurascale.
