If you read the about section, these exercises are intended to help you become familiar with Autodesk Fusion 360 through repetition. These models are not always exact but, are measured for approximation. They also may not always be real word examples, but a guide in software use. When attempting to reproduce models for 3D printing, be sure to verify your own real world measurements for authenticity.

you know what would make this even better?! if you gave us a look at the drawing you are working off of? that way we can understand why you are doing it the way you are? that is presuming of course you are working from a drawing and not just creating this for the first time haha anyway your content is always so good man.

The more I watch the more I realize how much I overuse the trim command because I don't know the extent of each tool's capabilities. Thank you.

Another great teaching video! How or why did you use the dist of .25 in the sweep I couldn't find what it was referenced to. Obviously it created the sweep you wanted, I just didn't see where it came from, Thanks Again for these Awesome video's!

There are a number of ways I could have performed that cut. I could have formed a revolve and set it to only cut at 90 degrees. But as a teaching moment, I used the sweep command as an alternative and set it to .25 which means that I only wanted it to sweep cut only 25% of the distance which is the same as 90 degrees. I hope this helps!

I need to get into the habit of explaining some things in more detail as I go along. I get so caught up in the execution at times that I miss some levels of detail. That was a great question though!

Your correction of the fillet in the circular pattern didn't work with me, the fillet icon won't become bleu. Also I liked the fillet full round function at the slot very handy. I also try to avoid start a sketch on a constraint line, because it locks it into place. Your sketch are automatically projected?

Are you referring to the edges that you selected for fillets not turning blue? If so, try holding the control key when doing so. For sketches on constraint lines, it depends on what you are hoping to achieve. Sometimes you may need to add your own constraints in which case you would avoid automatic constraints provided by Fusion 360. My sketches are indeed automatically projected when solid geometry faces are visible and used. This is useful to assist in creating constraints when selecting face geometry used as an active sketch plane. - You can set this in Preferences--> General--> Design -- Make sure that "Auto project geometry on active sketch plane" is checked.
