I own 5 different pairs of the clog style shoe, I bought my first last year and thought I'd wear them a couple of times, but I ended up wearing them all through spring and fall, and I took them to Spain during the summer and for the cool nights you can't better than that!!! LOVE

I’m mostly a skirt and dress wearer, for their superior comfort, and I wear knee-high boots with them a lot in autumn through spring. I have a good collection of neutral ones, so this autumn I added two colors, khaki-green chunkies and a burgundy, more traditional style. I love wearing boots that match my skirt, dress or trousers, with comfy mid-heels, to visually lengthen petite me, and these are two basic colors in my wardrobe. I also love wearing burgundy accessories with navy. I’m hoping to update my navy knee-highs, too, but this color doesn’t seem to be available much this year.

I looove autumn winter boots 👢 I like the single strap Birkenstock sandals (think it’s called Milan) but can’t wrap my head around the Boston Birkenstock shape. I’m sure it’s super comfortable- so maybe for days when you’re lounging around in loungewear. Lol 😂 I wear hiking boots a lot because they’re great in the mud when you’re hiking with dogs 🐕 🥾

Actually Charlotte, I am on the hunt for a pair of pointed creme colored ankel boots with just 3-5 cm heel. I wear a lot of light neutrals also in the Winter but since I live in Denmark I want to avoid suede. I also try to avoid the square toe boots as I am only 156 cm and need the optical illusion of looking taller 😉

As someone who lives in Alaska, I would probably add a snow boot. It’s difficult to find attractive warm snow boots for days when any other shoes would be impractical.

There is room in my footwear-loving heart for both classic and chunky styles! I don’t wear black much, though, and finding light-colored alternatives can be a challenge, especially this time of year. I’m hoping to score a pair of classic, bit-embellished, taupe leather loafer mules this next spring. The more I wear slip-on shoes, the more I love them. I have both chronic back pain and petite-height feet, meaning my ankles are just closer to the ground than the standard; standard closed-back shoes end ridiculously high on my heels and inevitably cut them up (my feet are really short, too, so I can look unbalanced). Having a petite frame affects even footwear, giving me issues like this that just don’t happen with most women, everything is designed for that 5’7-8” frame. I just opened a pair of “knee-high” boots, for example, but the shafts are at least 2 inches too high, annoying. There are millions of women much shorter than my 5’4”, I don’t know how they manage at 4’10”-5’3”. The average US woman is only 5’4” and US size 16/UK size 20.
