i had been to another mall before this one but lost the footage, so this is another Mall trip, i never go to malls, i really dont like malls and its the last place i usually go when i travel, but i know some people want to see this kind if thing...this will be my last mall trip ever hahaha..( i'm just not a mall person at all! This is my friend i met through Couchsurfing ( as usual) and she said she would take me to a mall! so...here it is!! i wont be going to any other Modern places on this trip, because i can get the same back home or anywhere really...but it was a nice mall, everything was ultra modern and clean and i can see how many families will go there in the summer heat!! ..thanks for watching! i have more authentic vlogs to come! lol

The culture of clothes in Iraq is different from yours. Perhaps you prefer well-known brands because their quality is excellent and can be used for many years. In Iraq, they are not looking for clothes for many years. They are looking for modern clothes with acceptable quality and a good price. Because they like to keep up with seasonal fashion and the clothes they wear this winter they will not wear next winter.. Whether the clothes are brand or not, the Iraqi will not go to a party or an invitation with the same clothes twice because they always like to renew their look . In Iraq, they care about car brands, mobiles, watches, glasses, perfumes, but not clothes. It is enough to keep up with the fashion season, regardless of the brand .

As an American, it is eye opening to see that Baghdad is more than the little bit we see in the media. Usually, it is just some sort of negative thing. I am very happy to see that there is so much more. This is why I turn to KZfaq to dig deeper to see what is really going on and Emma has been truly a gift to many Islamic countries that seem to only get small and negative coverage from the media. The governments of these countries owe here a lot in breaking those negative perceptions. Our media are far more concerned in covering everything political in the US and what latest insult Trump has said about somebody. It is sad that they can't focus on other places around the world to help educate the less inquisitive Americans. I would love to visit Iraq and see all the historic and wonderful places Emma has shown. The people seem truly kind and welcoming. As with any country (including the US) there are more good people than bad. There are bad places in the US, and I am sure in Iraq there are as well. You just have to use common sense like anywhere on where you go. I hope I can visit Iraq sometime soon as I do more research on what to do. Does anyone know how to find a trustworthy English speaking guide that can help me while I am there?

It’s very easy to travel around iraq , especially to the main tourist paces… it’s easy to travel alone in shared taxis , it’s also easy to meet locals that will help you , many speak good English… for me I just went and found people to help me while I was there, I didn’t use a tour company… there are some of course but very expensive… I used to often meet other travellers at the basic hotel in Baghadad and travel with them or use the travel app “Couchsurfing “ to make connections… or the FB group called Iraq Travellers Cafe “ they have a lot of info on guides and how to get around and contacts , but very easy place to travel , no permits needed and you can take shared or private taxis between cities.. but the FB group was so helpful for me ! Loved iraq a lot!

The history of Iraq is well known. All human beings know this, and we must know very well who Iraq is. Without watching radiation and false media. A person should check it out for himself like the tourists. You are welcome in Iraq, no matter you are American, British, Chinese or Russian, no matter your race or religion. But if we talk about religions in reality. If you come to the holy city of Karbala. A jacket for moderate Shia Muslims. How will they welcome you? This is the reality of the Iraqi people. This is how the Iraqis grew up on the upbringing of our ancient ancestors. For guests a special place. for the Iraqis. Welcome to Iraq. And if you want to come, you have to come from Turkey to Iraq

Fake brands are everywhere! Im living in the U.S. and most of the stuff here from China and the real brands are from Bangladesh... Last year I bought fake LV wallet from the most popular city Manhattan NY. It's ok to buy fake stuff some people can't afford the really ones.

I know there are fake brands everywhere, but what I was saying is that you won’t find them in a mall in the US ... you can find them , but they don’t have them in malls ... I’ve lived there for 22 years and know where to find them and they’re not in a dedicated shop in a mall ... I’m not knocking fake brands , I thought thought it funny they were allowed to sell them in a mall ... 😊

Yes it’s safer than many western countries actually, I was there for 4 months solo and that was a year ago … there’s loads of tourists go now , I’d say I felt safer in Iraq walking around alone than the Uk or USA for example 😊
