Just as a point of clarification for anyone playing Thrasta, at 43:45, Jeremy could recast Thrasta that turn, as the spells don’t have to be your own that we’re cast that turn, so Thrasta would be reduced by 12.

My dad always had a big mustache. When I was 18, I flew home my dad picked me up at the airport, but had shaved. I saw him, full eye contact and everything. I thought "That guy doesn't have a mustache, so it's not my dad" and walked right past him.

Jeremy has really amped up his theatrics and stage presence during the deck intros, even without skits and bits. Bravo!

When Stephen is legally allowed back in the studio and you guys play in person again, you should do an intro. I was thinking: Jeremy wants to play some in person magic. (Possibly needing a break from dad life) so on webcam, he gets up and goes out a door in the background. Cut to Jeremy in a hallway full of doors (8 or so?) He opens one and finds Jon, then another and there's Justin. But on the third, it's an angry bearded Jeremy that comes charging like Wolverine before you slam the door at the last second. Alternatively or additionally, there's a door to a desert wasteland (like the scene in Beetlejuice) but instead of the Tim Burton sandworm it's the sandwurm from sandwurm convergence. Additionally or alternatively, there's a door that opens to a room with Wes Wise, and he's excited that he might be playing again, he says he's got a great deck built and you see that he's gold fishing a game with a board full of cheatyfaces. -slams door and shrugs- Finally you get the room with Stephen and are met with him talking to his fan (Fannie? Boxie?) which is wearing a mullet wig (the fan, not Stephen, although....) there's a short pause and Stephen starts to laugh at some unheard joke, "Good one Boxie" he says as he tries to feed it a slice of pizza. Cut back to the Jon, Jeremy and Justin as they look confused. Justin "I'm just glad he's wearing pants."

Jeremy is the kind of guy that I hate playing Commander with. Disregards board state and attacks one guy that isn't a threat and basically guarantees that he himself doesn't win.

100% can relate to the moustache story. When my dad shaved his and I was about 4 I would not stop screaming about the stranger in our house.

I dont know if the "save"point really adds anything? more times than not it feels like it plays out like this game where its more just a random point. But, a great and fun game as always fellas!!

If Grist is no longer on the battlefield as its first loyalty ability resolves, you will still create a 1/1 black and green Insect creature token and mill a card. If an Insect card is milled this way, you won’t be able to put a loyalty counter on Grist, but you will still repeat the process. More mill for the Grist, as it were. source is the gatherer

This is the best episode ever. Jon won last season. Jon saved Stephen and then killed him. Stephen died first. Jeremy played huge creatures and Justin won with dredge and using black. All is right in the world! 😂
