I think if you JUST restrict grief and fury, the rest of the elementals are fine

I don't really see the benefits of playing necrodominance over necropotence in timeless. Necropotence is just better in a format with bowmaster and Sheoldred since it doesn't actually draws you cards and doesn't restrict your hand to 5 cards.

Why Exsanguinate / Debt to the Debtless aren't on Arena? Or Damnation? They even have the Damnation card back graphics.

Add Ayara and / or Cabal Paladin in the Acerak deck, goes a lot faster. Play both in my Acererak Commander deck

I don't think the Incarnations will be restricted in Timeless. Cards that are banned in modern and legacy are legal as 4-ofs in the format. More to the point, I don't think they should. I think they should *maybe* think about restricting Reanimate at some point to make Scam players go back to playing draft chaff tricks and Ephemerate for most of their Scam package. But WotC has already more or less explicitly told you that if you don't like Scam, you should be playing Historic instead of Timeless, and in this instance they're absolutely right.

Memnite is a huge loss for Affinity, but i do believe the best replacement for Thoughtcast is actual Witching Well. It does everything you need in this deck. It's a cheap artifact first and foremost, it scry's 2, which is huge to getting land, putting it at the bottom, or digging to find threats. Then it draws at instant speed when you need it. Crabomination is just clunky in your hand, I don't see what that's going to do especially when you have a slow hand. The deck definitely needs to be Grixis colors bc of Cranial Ram and Syntheizer.

Regarding scooping in brawl, they could implement a matchmaking penalty for conceding quickly in matches. The penalty gradually increases the time you have to wait to play your next match. That would offset the advantage of scooping to farm beneficial matchups.

How do you play this event?

The evoke elementals is a genius move. Make everybody burn wildcards and then if it's not working well, you restrict them and since it's restricting and not banning, they won't refund us. Wait and see.

Cards can't be pre-restricted. They have to earn their place on the list. Even then they have to be so fundamentally broken that WotC sees no way to counteract but restrict them.

I love Seth dearly but his understanding of Modern is painful at times. He acts like Scam is destroying the meta, when it couldn't be further from the truth. Modern is in a great place. Also he spent the first game moaning about evoke elementals... being hard cast

You were roping him so hard while talking about your cat, then you started tabbing out to look at mtggoldfish and talk about cards. By this point, you've almost ran out your turn timer multiple times for no reason other than yapping so your opponent has clearly lost interest in the match and stops paying attention (like we all do against ropers)... And then you start whining about opponent taking so long and insist on complaining about the opponent's deck. My lord that was insufferable.
