Modern Jazz Guitarist and Composer Juan Dhas brings a breath of fresh air to what is going on in the modern jazz guitar world these days. As a guitarist he is soulful, virtuosic and always prioritizes the music. This is a rare trait and it is one that will serve him for many years. In his interview, Juan discusses his philosophies about how to get better at playing jazz. He also demonstrates quite a number of techniques so everyone can learn from. This is truly a pleasurable interview and I hope you learn from it as much as I did!

Two totally delightful individuals sharing their gifts with the awestruck guitar public. Again another super human who's just a spectacle to witness. It's like watching someone skydiving and doing all sorts of spins and turns in the air. I'll never attain to that but it is dazzling to watch and stirs the soul. Once again it shows what is possible to attain. at least by one person, the limitless bounds of the guitar-Stretches and Voicings I never dreamed were possible.

Hey man, on your Marshall Harrison interview I suggested that you interview Derryl Gable, Marshall's friend but you dismissed it by saying he doesn't have enough followers for you to interview him but then he has many more followers than Jhan right here. Not saying Juan is bad (infact Derryl looks up to Juan and follows his work) or telling you how to run your channel but IMHO you should seriously check that guy out. He's a monster player. Not many people know about him so your platform would be a great way for people to get to know about this unknown mega guitarist. Just give it a thought. Thanks for reading.

Firstly, thank you for your input. Next, I know Derryl, but again… He is not right from my channel. He's a great player, he's got huge hands, and he loves Allan Holdsworth. Simply put, my channel just does not have a need for him. Especially because I'm on the cusp of launching the most important Allan Holdsworth text ever written, which includes an interview with the author as well. That's far more important and pertinent than somebody who covers Allan Holdsworth solos. I've actually given up on interviews… But I think I have just a couple more I'm going to do. I hope you're still enjoying my channel and again I seriously appreciate your input.

A complete Allan Holdworth ripoff. Why didn’t he find his own voice. What’s the point in repeating history parrot fashion as Allan Holdsworth himself would say.

@@streetwiseguitar5113 - Right through it. The style, the note choices, the approach, the finger placement. Everything but Allan Holdsworth’s depth of soul and intellect. That which cannot be practiced into someone. A person is born with that and he was uniquely grafted from on high.

@@OnlyOurRiversRunFree365 You have built an alter to Holdsworth in your mind that is beyond reproach. I mean, you even suggest the guy is some sort of deity. Did you even bother to listen to Juan's recorded output before you put your self-righteous foot squarely in your gob? "Why didn't he find his own voice?" What an inane presumption about a brilliant player who is still in his 20s. I'm sure Allan would agree.
