This is probably the best “realistic” mod I’ve seen. Gives me nostalgia especially because of the amazing Spider-Man movies.

Nobody gonna talk about how immaculate the sound design is? The way cars beep and sound when Spider-Man swings by at high speeds, it's amazing (pun intended)

compared to other visual mods, this is absolutely stunning, it fits the game, isn't high contrast and oversaturated, and looks amazing.

I just came back from living in New York for a few years and I can’t really explain how therapeutic videos like this are. I’m happy I’m back home and the chapter is over, but I do miss my friends from back there. I had an amazing experience. Swinging by all the locations where I would talked to my friends reminds me of how Peter Parker-esque my experience really was. There was plenty of drama, plenty of running late, plenty of girl problems, and plenty of helping out the good people of New York when I could. I think the best way to describe New York is "intense." Everything is more intense there. And I think when you realize that can be a great thing, that’s when you can make life amazing. Characters like Peter Parker are so valuable for people who want to reflect on their life like this. Seeing him strap on a backpack and rush through the city is so oddly relatable. It feels like I really did experience the same exact feelings he constantly has to deal with. Spider-Man is so awesome.

Years ago in my teenage, this is what I used to dream how TASM 1 would be and how would I swing through the city before I even knew what TASM looked like. But when I played the actual game, I was utterly disappointed. I felt like what I wanted would never be true. I lost interest. A lot of things happened. I lost majority of my family. Got whole new responsibilities. Went through a lot of health related issues. For years and years. Now I'm better. Got out of it. Getting out of it. I lost interest in video games. I dont like playing games anymore. But seeing this, reminded me of my old times. I'm glad people are able to enjoy what I once wished.

I really like that eveything close to you is sharp and everything far away is a little more blurry. It's probably less practical from a gameplay perspective because you want to know where you are swinging to, but it makes it looks so realistic because that's what New York would look like if you shot it with a cinema lens!

I think it would actually be cool if they did only story markers and player set markers on screen instead of having the mini map and cutting down on the UI while you're swinging in the city it makes it very immersive. Maybe have the UI fade out while you swing

Only been to New York once, but this definitely captures that chilly autumn vibe i got back then. Magical.

Needs more scaffolding on every sidewalk to be realistic.

I remember PS3 games having better shading quality than some of these newer games, i really wish studios put THIS much effort into a game as these awesome KZfaqrs do! Awesome man.

Awesome vid!! When I saw the suit, I was hoping to hear that iconic Amazing Spider-Man score from the Garfield films. I haven’t seen anyone do one to it yet. One of the more underrated superhero scores imo.

Even the dirt on the roofs are enough for it to be realistic the building with different paint jobs too but some texture anywhere can add so much atmosphere

I think the only thing that really needs touching up is the audio. The ambience coming from the vehicles and people below comes in and out, even when Spiderman's at street level for a while, while he's swinging. It needs more consistency. I understand that it can be the wind passing through the character and us that is blocking the sound, but I feel like there should be a balance. When Peter is a street level while swinging, the ambience of the vehicles & people should become clearer, while still hearing low volume wind.

loved that you used tasm 2 suit bcs imo it looks the best on screen. even in the movies its the best one in the vfx department, it looks great!
