In this video ive added an aftermarket module to my car, in order to make it fold or unfold its ORVMs on locking or unlocking.

The updated window regulator motor with which this can be achieved is hard to source in India, it needs to be imported, if it was any easier I would have gone with that route

Is it possible to do the same on the first gen cars which didn't come with folding mirrors? Could we replace the folding motor from a newer gen mirror and do this retrofit? I really want to keep the originality the car came with and fiddle with some new and useful features.

You’ll first need 2016+ Highline morris, electronically foldable and adjustable, then this module can be added

Hi pretrak I was learned many updates doing to my polo 2013 comfortline by seeing your videos. Next upgrade ambient lighting for polo 👍and connect it with you're infotainment system rcd 340 if iam not wrong.. nicely done personally i always fear i might break something coming from electronics and communication Engineer 🤣need a bit of getting use to these delicate harnesses and clips🤣

Mirror adjustment works as I said in the video, but they don’t fold with the knob now, there has to be a solution which I’ll find.
