Just a video look inside before I seal up the ship. At this point, I still need to hot glue some wire harnesses inside. but saucer seal will happen this week.

To reduce the noise of the motor, put a little rubber around the motor area and the plastic panel and it will reduce that noise. Other than that it’s beautiful.❤🤔

Really love the detail in all of this. Funny how you put the women and children in the sleeping tubes. Really a good job on all of this.🤗

Thanks a bunch! Working on the Shuttlecraft Galileo now. Stepped up the details on the figures for that one should have a video for that one, Q1 next year. I have some things on order for it -- including a custom 3D printed base.

Is this the standard model kit or did you add the lighting and other touches? It is really cool!
@planetpopvideos44184 ай бұрын
Hello -- and thank you! The kit is from Moebius Models and they make a separate light kit for the model. You have to buy that separately. The light kit they make doesn't include all the lights you see here. I added third party circuit wall lighting (seen in yellow), wall panel lights, instrumentation lights, the motors for the rotating radar screens and a sound chip. The Moebius Models light kit is pretty basic. Also, the kit does not come with any character figures. I bought those separately from Shapeways -- an online 3D assets/figures company. The figures are to scale with the ship. So, to answer your question -- I added a lot. I thought about adding motors to make the reel to reel player turn but thought that might be overkill. Also, the motors I bought are kind of noisy and I already have 3 of them turning the radar screens on the control panel. Anyway, thanks again! Hope I answered your question sufficiently!

Sweet details, but what is that sound??!! Is it the radar?
@planetpopvideos44187 ай бұрын
Yeah, that's the three electric motors that are turning the radar graphics. It would have been very hard to sound insulate those due to the tight space under that console and the angle those motors had to be glued in at which, BTW, was -- (at least I thought so) -- a real PITA to get correct and really put in place. So, the motor sound isn't ideal, but...?
