lmao that other Abrams crew wiffed so bad thats tough. Absolutely loved how the Chinese played their armor from the tanks sticking together to the hit and run tactics the scout car was pulling off. Very entertaining to watch!

Yes I feel like tank crews are really bad atm. Haven’t seen a good Tank crew in 2 weeks of playing every second day 😩🤣. Like after the first 10 min all of our tanks are destroyed and the crew just repeats it. They don’t have a tactic. It’s embarrassing.

As you asked, Watching from your view, obviously if we would have pushed right away we would have taken estate……. Also in watching it, can’t deny that if we had all kicked back on the west side of the map abd held our habs we would have won! Ton of fun. Lots to learn! Did not hate watching… Thanks papa…..

Helis should *NOT* be used to set attack HABs against defended points. Helis are *WAAAY* too loud and guaranteed to get an enemy patrol. Helis are great for fast HABs against points that are not yet defended and moving troops/supplies to points that you already control. Logi trucks are the key to sneaky attack HABs.

Very entertaining round to watch! I imagine some people had a real fun match tbh, especially those Chinese tankers! :D The Estate looks a lot like that scene from CoDMWII iirc, the big betrayal scene right after holding that building for ages. Also seems like this layer would make more sense as Invasion, with the PLA attacking than RAAS!

moi is right about giving up the initiative completely. even if you aren't truly going full offensive you still want to feint and attack at estate with 1-2 squads

I agree. Its military stratagem 101 to never give up the initiative. As you said, even if you don't want to commit into a costly offensive, you can still feint, and tie down/occupy enemy forces. Or just constantly harass Estate so they have to constantly defend it actively.

Idk why. But armor always goes down so fast when I play. Like these ppl make squad MBT, abrams T72 and then they suck, don’t support the infantry push. Don’t intercept enemy logis. Instead they go alone around and search for the enemy tanks who are hunting in a wolve pack. And then we see a very common thing : all 3 tanks are dead after the first 10-15 min 😡

They are doing it because they are not punished for the behaviour. Actually, they are rewarded. A tank supporting his infantry will be facing enemy infantry. And before the ICO, that meant a 20% survival rate for the tank. But by leaving the infantry away and playing world of tank outside the map, you are only facing the enemy tank, so they now have a 50% survival. 20 < 50 And that's why they do it. With the ICO, I would guess now the survival rate of a tank facing enemy infantry would be 30 or 40. That's much better but still < 50

The commander seems to think that cap point bleed is still a thing. It doesn't matter how many points you control, it's how you control the tickets.

I hate it when commanders want to turtle so early on, its almost always a very slow loss. The enemy has time to find and destroy all your habs, your vulnerable armor dies and whoever they pick off on point almost always is more points than whatever advantage you have on caps.

So after the Chinese helicopter crashes at 51:07, there's the sound of an American helicopter to your left that abruptly ends at 51:22 with an explosion. And then the US Commander and SL 3 chuckle as if they just died; I know for a fact that the US Commander was riding around in a helicopter before this. But Moi took their comments as being toward the Chinese helicopter. What actually happened here? Is this another case of Moi just missing something? (no offense Moi)

The Chinese helicopters has been a meme the whole game. i was just staring at it and just waiting and expecting for the inevitable. i'd be more surprised at this point if any Chinese helicopters survived more than a minute. It is absolutely hilarious. Also love the Chinese armor play though. Its so epic seeing two tanks and IFV working together. Makes for great cinematic but also very effective. Armor crew need to learn to do this stuff more.

So i've watched bout 5 of your eye in the sky vids recently and it seems like whichever team uses their vehicles together and destroys or incapacitates the enemy vehicles wins. I feel like ever since the combat overhaul the ability for vehicles to just absolutely dominate even harder than they used to is just too much. I recently came back to the game and the weapon sway on LATs and HATS is FUCKING INSANE. Makes an easy shot so wonky and weird.

Can someone help me please, I have a new pc it has a rtx 4060, 16gb 3600mhz ram, ryzen 7 5800x, and two ssds. I play squad and after a bit i get a stutter then it crashes instantly with the "dxgi_error_device_removed" I have tried reinstalling drivers, I am currently verifying integ of files, I have done regedit stuff i dont know what else to do can someone please help me i cant play a full game of squad anymore.

Just tried to play after a few months' hiatus. Immediately upon trying to load into a server, I got a low video memory error, and the game crashes. I guess my GPU has given up on life... it refuses to use the last two gigabytes of vram...

i had that error a couple months ago as well, after the graphics and lighting overhaul. I managed to fix it by tinkering with the video settings and been working fine since. incl. after ICO. i run a 1060 6GB.

The A-10 blows, it should lock on to the closes target within a 20 ft radius or do a area damage in a 20ft radius

Why are you always so far away from the players. And when you get "closer" it's still far away.& when action is about to happen to always zoom away and open up your map.
