Hi Eli Yah moisture meters can vary ! I like the auto shut off on electronic instruments...because I most of the time forget to turn them off ....and then when want to use Them another day I would need to change the battery 😊 From what your woodyard looks like you may not get direct sun and lack of wind with all the trees ! Your wood would dry faster if you had single rows ! Probably a minimum of 3 or 4 ft apart !😊

The shut off is fine, it just times out way to fast for my liking on that one. As for the wood yard, I own about 10 acres and its 90% wooded. Its open from east to west so all of the wood will get sun for more than half of the daylight hours and I placed the yard in the windiest spot I own. In a perfect world I would be able to do what you suggested but I don't have the space. I want to have rows of 2 cords spaced about 2 feet apart and then be able to drive my truck in between the next pair of rows, hop that mad sense.

@CentralMinnesotaFirewood Good on the sun that you do get ! Even if you stacked your wood on a pallet with only 2 rows but 12 ft long you would have a cord of wood ! Your drying time would probably be cut in half ! This is what Joe from Ohio Wood Burner does !!😁

@@kendriedger151 I can understand the science behind that. Limited space is the biggest issue. Ill maybe put in some more work looking if that's feasible. The pallets are the length and width they are lol, but dry times are the one thing that cant be over looked

These were a little more separated than I was hoping at times. I do think that tool shop one was a good buy.
