thank you for emphasizing that the original god of war is connected to the 2018 nore people need to understand this so they can see that the story actually makes more sense than people think

I love how we all thought the "Power of Hope" thing was corny in God of War 3, but Týr recontextualised it in Valhalla and made it cool. It goes to show Santa Monica Studios always had a great idea but due to time constraints (and maybe budget constraints too) weren't able to flesh it out in God of War 3.

Tyre is a better god of war than Ares. Interesting that the Greek god of war ruined Kratos, the Norse god of war helped him.

Nuh uh, probably a modern gamer writing this, ares is beyond far more better cuz he was the one kratos is kratos, he is the only reason kratos became an evil, even blades of chaos was given by ares 😹 kratos' character now is only a developement, his origin is only in the greece

I know this would make the events of the game, or the game itself, mote, but if Zeus didn't sent Ares and Athena to "get the marked warrior", Kratos and Deimos would grow up and have a normal life for spartans, and Kratos wouldn't become the marked warrior(the scar over his right eye) and eventually forefill the prophecy to kill all the gods, especially Zeus, who is in fact, SPOILLERS, Kratos' father.

@Mojoplays I think you meant "Forbidden" for a God to kill another God, not impossible. What would be impossible is for a mortal(human) to kill a God.

9:35 Also technically, Kratos and Deimos started fighting Thanotos, but that particular god(Primordial) killed Deimos in the midst of the battle, exponentially angering Kratos and killing him for it. Reminder, don't mess with Kratos' family or you will pay with your life for it.😱😵☠

U lost me at the start. Kratos is not a barbarian. Anything that was considered “barbaric” was literally anything not Greek. Kratos is Greek.

Flashbacks in GOW Ghost of Sparta are set BEFORE GOW I, the rest of the game is set between I and II.

they are the same the only difference is that older kratos tries to restrain himself because he wants to teach atreus to be better than he was its about learning from your mistakes that is what the fight with baldur was about thats what the cycle ends here was about

Northern mythology is a convoluted mess. Boring, tedious and confusing at times. Only white people can enjoy this nordic nonsense. For the rest of humanity it's just boring. Let's hope that the next GoW deals with a different mythology.
