Hello FOLKS, and welcome back to another edition of, "Singing Chinese with my VERY American Mother!" This one has actually been requested A LOT, so my mom and I decided we would do a little duet for ya'll! It's a pretty traditional Chinese song called, "Jasmine Flower", or, 《茉莉花》in Chinese. We hope you enjoy!

I’m so surprised that u are able to sing a traditional Chinese song with ur mom. U learn Chinese mandarin is due in no small measure to loving Chinese culture. Thanks for sharing.

This was a song our high school choir sang at one of the interschool music festivals. I just shared it with my high school music teacher reminded her of the wonderful time. She liked it. She thought you both sang beautifully and really enjoyed yourselves. That’s the magic of music: bringing people together. Thanks for sharing.

谢谢你们如此美好地传播中华文化，中国歌曲！中国人唱英文歌曲的很普遍，有的人还唱的很好，很地道；但是纯粹的外国人，尤其是西方人，美国人唱好中国歌曲的却是凤毛麟角，几乎没有见到过。这不仅是歌曲的表达和西方歌曲在音乐上有很大的差异外，吐字发音都有相当的难度。由于你们对中华文化和歌曲的热爱，加上刻苦的努力，才能达到现在的成绩。希望你们再接再厉，一定会更好的。谢谢你们！很喜欢你们的歌，Nancy 有音乐底蕴，雪莲更是表达自如，尤其还用粤语，很不简单了！很了不起！
