Judge Mathis

Judge Mathis

Жыл бұрын

The plaintiff says the defendant, her daughter, was always a good kid until she started dating a club promoter. The plaintiff loaned her car to her daughter, who collected multiple parking tickets while driving to clubs in Los Angeles. She’s suing her daughter for those unpaid tickets. The defendant says her mother was right about her ex-boyfriend, and that’s why they’re not dating anymore. She insists her mother is suing for more than she owes.

I loved how the daughter was emotionally mature and not disrespectful towards her mom. It’s hard to find that level of respect from that generation of children. God Bless this mom and daughter, this young lady is coming into many blessings for the honor she has for her mom. I believe she knows that her responsibility needs some work.

It's so rude how JM always talks over people! He will pause and as soon as the litigants think he's done and try to continue their testimony he'll cut them off and keep speaking over them! Sometimes, I feel like he tries to frustrate people on purpose just so he will have an excuse to say they're being contemptuous and be hateful. He holds himself in such high regard...If he ever watches his reruns, he should feel embarrassed about how he acts toward a lot of the litigants! Anywho, I will continue to watch because I love seeing litigants like the defendant who have enough self-control not to allow him to get under their skin!

Damn JM calm down! 😳 He was so mean and rude to the girl. I get what she was saying about not having reliable transportation, most jobs even ask that on applications ✅ She probably would've explained it if he didn't start flippin tf out! 🤯 She's 19 yrs old, don't run behind boys, graduating from college in a mth. The worst thing it sounds like she did was run up tickets, so JM needs to give the girl a break. Hell the mom too

At the pharmaceutical company in Florida a car was one of the requirements before you got hired. I lied and said I had a car. A lit of jobs in the South requires a car. So Judge Mathis do your research.

Its so refresing to see this mom/daughter dynamic. She's just being a mom and the daughter is just going through growing pains.

Yeah In Los Angeles it’s hard to find a parking spot without getting a ticket. Last month I went to Los Angeles and I drove around for almost an hour trying to find a parking spot without getting a ticket lol it’s a fast life.

Exactly keep some of y'all's opinions to yourself. This is a court show, that's what Judges do, is interrupt with questions from their answers. And one person said "they didn't know black people could be intelligent" I am like WHAT. To that person, have you seen the News today about your kind? 🤔 Hmm

Y’all chill on the young girl make up, she’s hella young and probably still learning how to apply it on right. Besides that both mom & daughter was very respectful and the daughter seems like she’s on the right path. When your 19 you make dumb choices the good thing she learns quick. Applaud 👏🏽 them both

Mom first said no one else drives the car then admitted to the oldest probably more "irresponsible" daughter that lives in Vegas was also an additional driver (to the store) when she's stays @ their home in palmdale. Judge asked mom the same question several times. Then finally came clean stated she doesn't ask just takes the car at her own free will. While mom has taken custody for 2yrs raising her grandchildren from the older daughter. Returns frequently to family dwelling for court proceedings, sign legal docunents & most likely visit with her kids. Seems as though few other ppl also may need to be honest & held accountable as well
