What do you think the hardest accomplishment in osu! is? Becoming a top player? Winning the osu! World Cup? Reaching rank 1? While those things might be extremely difficult in their own right, there is something achieved by the smallest handful of people: osu! completion. The goal is simple: play every single osu! beatmap that was ever made. But just because it sounds simple doesn't mean it's easy by any means. There are thousands of ranked beatmaps that already exist within the game, and new ones are being made every single day, meaning that osu! completion is something that only gets harder and harder as time passes. But that hasn't stopped players from putting in the effort to achieve completion. First, there was xasuma, who braved the task of completion after playing 60,845 beatmaps and earning his title as The First Completionist. Next, there was Przegrany, who became the second to achieve completion after playing 82,298 beatmaps. These two have established themselves as legends, but for the longest time, it was just the two of them. The harder completion got, the more tempting it was to give up, but it didn't dissuade MomoTheMelon. After reaching rank 1 on the score rankings, Momo focused on pushing his limits on his mission to achieve completion, and after endless amounts of grinding, he made it out to tell the tale. This is how it happened.
